Nice bar, nice people..rare in the Aosta valley

Per chi frequentava Gressoney negli anni '70, '80 e '90, quando andare fuori a pranzo o a cena era un evento e non la normalità, Capanna Carla era una istituzione. in altro luogo ma con lo stesso nome oggi Capanna Carla pur senza raggiungere le vette gastronomiche di allora si piazza comunque in ottima posizione nel panorama gastronomico della zona. Piatti finalmente tipici, prezzi finalmente onesti e un ambiente che sarebbe anche caldo se la nostra visita non fosse avvenuta in un martedì di marzo. Castagne lardo di Arnad e miele ottime con una presentazione impeccabile, fonduta eccellente e servita anche con le patate lesse (ormai una rarità), zuppa valdostana migliorabile scegliendo magari un pane più adatto. Comunque una piacevole serata, in una Gressoney piena di locali chiusi.
