I was wandering around the area after visiting the Academy Museum. Decided to drop by this restaurant. It is not located in a touristy area, but it is worth the trek. The restaurant was empty tonight. I assume that it was due to being a weekday and slightly chilly eve. Nonetheless, I had the green salad and the wild board with black pepper served with tagliatelle. The salad was ok. Nothing to write home. However, OMG.. the pasta was so good. Highly recommend this place for sure.

A lovely authentic restaurant in Florence, food and service was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Glad we found this little gem 😁

Very nice experience. The eggplant parmigiana and tagliatelle with ragu du cinghiale onanatra are a real treat. Very friendly atmosphere, far from modern industrial kitchens… efficient and very kind staff. To recommend. 2nd visit the same week still as good, the meat is exceptional, the brains very good and the revisited carbonara very original and good.

01/11/2024: The experience was excelent ,the service the same. I felt welcomed and tickled in my taste buds with the cornetto con pistachio and the best cappuccino I have tasted I'm Italy.
