Excellent preparation of dishes with excellent raw materials and a pleasant attention to the territory. Interesting wine list. Precise and professional service. Spacious room, easy parking. Excellent value for money.

Das Lokal liegt sehr schön und das Personal ist sehr bemüht und freundlich. Das Essen ist in Ordnung aber teilweise seinen Preis nicht wert. Achtung Burger ist kein typischer Burger, sondern besteht aus 2 kleinen verbrannten Toastscheiben und einer Menge ungewürzten Fleisch. Großteils in Ordnung aber zu teuer.

Quite sober but very well-kept atmosphere. Service competent and very friendly. Poached egg with pecorino cream and truffles. Very good. Tagliatelle with shrimps. Pretty bland. Braised beef in Chianti reduction and mashed potatoes. Buttery, juicy, good beef, but the sauce was just sour. Creme brulé - very delicious!

What a gem!! Phenomenal experience. Randomly stopped on the way from Florence to Siena and were completely blown away with the food. Wonderful service and a simple but lovely atmosphere. And the food was incredible (like it should be a Michelin Bib Gourmand or Michelin Plate restaurant). We had croquettes and 4 different pastas — truffle, beef ragu, cuttlefish ink and spinach ricotta — and the flavors and presentation were amazing. For dessert we had tiramisu, chocolate mousse and cheesecake and all were beautiful and delicious. And their wine complemented the meal beautifully. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Returned to Monteriggioni after 4 years. Tagliatella with mushrooms, guinea fowl and excellent quality hamburgers. Restaurant linked to the town's winery. Excellent rosé by the glass. Sweets and burnt apple pie to finish on a high note. Thank you.

Tout était parfait, des antipasti aux plats. Les portions sont tellement copieuses que nous n’avions plus de place pour le dessert. Le service est charmant et très professionnel. Nous avons mangé dehors, sur une très agréable terrasse, pas loin de la route mais on n’entend pas le bruit. La salle intérieure est spacieuse et bien agencée. À recommander!

06/01/2025: Bistrot Languorino was a discovery that made our stay truly special. We dined there almost every evening, and each time it was an unforgettable journey into the heart of authentic and genuine flavours. The restaurant is the perfect example of how culinary tradition can tell stories through dishes. Each course was a celebration of local flavours, prepared with fresh, local ingredients, which evoked distant memories, almost as if time stopped for a moment. The dishes offered are simple, but full of character, and every bite seemed to tell a story of passion and care in preparation. The traditional, yet innovative cuisine has been able to perfectly combine the comfort of home food with a touch of refinement that has made every meal special. Furthermore, the service was always welcoming and familiar, which made the experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend the Bistrot Languorino to anyone looking for a corner of authentic culinary tradition, where each dish is capable of evoking emotions and distant memories. An experience that remains in the heart.

La Bottega di Volpaia

07/01/2025: Space. We ended up here by chance: the sweetness and helpfulness of the owners made us fall in love. Welcoming environment, with attention to the smallest details. The dishes are absolutely delicious, fantastic pici with wild boar with an extra touch (to be discovered). For the second course we chose some vegetables: absolutely fabulous, from their garden; the chef cooks them in a surprising way. Selection of castle wines. In short, we would never go away again. Highly recommended from all points of view.
23/12/2024: The kindest people I have met in Volpaia - or in Tuscany recently - after visiting literally hundreds of times (Volpaia is on my way to Siena when I go for bike rides). I showed up two days ago in muddy cycling clothes and this is quite a high end spot, the young woman running the place with her husband - Martina - greeted me and my cycling buddy the most welcoming way. I was pretty amazed, I have never been treated this nice in Volpaia, especially considering my outfit. Martina insisted for us to sit at the restaurant although we were just having a quick coffee and cake and spent lots of time chatting with us. Also Asif who works at the bar, and who had already rescued us with coffee in the past while the rest of the village was shut, is super kind and service minded and it’s a pleasure to see him when we get here. I have only stopped here for coffee and cake so far, but I will definitely come back for a proper meal not only because what they do looks delicious, but mostly because I want to support a place run by such kind people.
