We had dinner in this place during a trip to the area and we were delighted: the environment is taken care of down to the smallest details and the cuisine is of high quality; furthermore the owner is very attentive and kind. It is possible to taste traditional Maremma cuisine, prepared with zero km ingredients. The wine selection is excellent; I recommend tasting the artemisia and vinsantheo: excellent! It seems strange to me that at the Sorano spa, following my request, they told me that there were only a couple of restaurants in the town, without also recommending this suggestive and refined place. Absolutely worth visiting!

Amazing and unique restaurant. We have been going for years. Nicola is a wonderful owner and manager, with in depth knowledge of beer, wines and cuisine in the region. The restaurant is STUNNING - located in an Etruscan cave. Only a few tables. Very personable. Menu changes often. Truly always a 10/10. I live in London and visit every time I’m back. Deserves a Michelin star!

We really enjoyed the food and really liked the atmosphere. We were completely happy and satisfied. The food was regional and exceptional. The dessert was the crowning glory of the wonderful evening

In una cantina con pochi posti ma con una location da favola. Carta dei vini ampia con scelta italiana. Abbiamo preso la fonduta con erbe (buonissima), misto di affettati e formaggi, fave, tris di dolci ( ogni giorno cambiano a scelta dello chef). Abbiamo bevuto Vigna Manent, sangiovese. ECCEZZIONALE. Acqua e caffè. 83,50 euro. Telefonate sempre perché le indicazioni di chiusura non sono corrette.

Finally something truly original, both in the dishes and in the careful choice of ingredients. The attention to raw materials is accompanied by excellent cooking technique. Excellent quality-price relation. Just one note: despite some indication signs, it is not easy to find the entrance, but once you cross the threshold you will discover that it was really worth it.
