04/02/2025: Eating gluten-free and lactose-free often means making compromises, but at O' Masto I discovered that it is no longer necessary. Finally a place where I can let myself go without fear, enjoying every bite as if gluten had never been a problem.
The gluten-free and lactose-free pizzottelle montanare were the first sign that gluten-free is serious here: fragrant, light, with an intense and tasty tomato sauce. Then came the pizza, and there I understood that I was in front of something special. Without hesitation, I can say that it is the best gluten-free pizza I have ever eaten. Soft, well leavened, light but tasty, with a fragrant crust and top-quality ingredients.
And then, the part that is usually the disappointment of those who eat gluten-free and lactose-free: the desserts. But not here. Babà, tiramisu and above all the profiteroles, perfect in every detail, with that soft consistency and full flavor that is rarely found in gluten-free versions. All without strange aftertastes or dry consistencies: just pure pleasure.
As soon as you enter, you breathe a convivial and familiar atmosphere. The staff is friendly, attentive and always ready to recommend the right dish based on your tastes. The service is fast but never rushed, with particular attention to customer care.
At O' Masto I have never felt "different" because I eat gluten-free. I have just eaten very well. If you are looking for a place where gluten-free is not a limitation but an excellence, this is your destination. Finally a restaurant where I can say: I wouldn't change a thing.
27/01/2025: The food is good: my friends had the meat which was very good. I had the pizza with fish, good even if it didn't completely convince me. Quiet environment, ok service.
