Camavitè In Peschici

We met the Camavité family in September and ended our summer on a high note. The room was clean and comfortable with a small terrace that always afforded sea views. We had dinner at the restaurant, and I think it's one of the most beautiful locations in the world. Very friendly staff, top-notch food with beautifully presented local specialties. Breakfast was fantastic! Thank you, we'll be back ☺️

A unique experience... I saw it on TV in the program "4 Ristoranti" (4 Restaurants), tried it this summer, and I have to say it's truly exceptional. Excellent value for money, and the location is simply "stunning."

The restaurant is in an enchanting location, nestled on the right side of a small bay. The tables reach right up to the rocks. We chose one of them to celebrate our anniversary. The evocative and romantic setting provides a splendid backdrop for the high-quality cuisine. The menu is refined, featuring both land and sea dishes. The raw fish is exceptional. The dishes combine local tradition with sophistication and innovation. A remarkable culinary experience. I recommend opting for one of the tasting menus. The wine cellar offers a truly vast selection, with Italian and European labels (the Chablis is top-notch). The service was attentive and attentive. We had a wonderful evening. The bill is in line with the location and the caliber of the menu. But quality comes at a price. I recommend booking: you can also do so directly on the website.

We had dinner on September 4th. The place is beautiful, and the view is definitely more enjoyable at lunch or aperitif time, but the atmosphere is also welcoming in the evening. We chose the Radici e Mare tasting menu (€55 per person) and the wine pairing (the €35 menu says 5 glasses, although it's actually 4, like the courses on the menu). The ingredients are certainly top-quality, but the €198 bill seems excessive for what you eat and the attentive service. Between courses, they forget to bring you clean cutlery for the next dish. The sommelier is excellent, explaining the wines to accompany the dishes with passion and professionalism. What can I say? The dinner was good, but I wouldn't return.

We had two tasting menus for €60 per person plus a bottle of wine for €32, a €4.50 cover charge that was unbearable, totaling €162. Aside from the slightly exaggerated price for everything, especially considering the size of the dishes (I've attached a photo), I can't help but be convinced that the food was fresh and delicious. The portions were a bit surprising, and especially after watching the show, we thought the quantities were different. The location and ambiance are nothing to write home about, a culinary experience, but the price was exaggerated compared to the portions we were served. Half a scoop of ice cream was hilarious. There were four of us on the show, and most importantly, they offered limoncello, which they didn't offer to anyone that evening, even though it was a quiet evening. We left the place hungry, but still happy to have had a great evening.

A truly romantic restaurant overlooking the sea, a family that dedicates all their time and effort to it, and Vincenzo's unparalleled ability to welcome and amaze make this place truly one of a kind. We're in Peschici, Puglia, and the dishes showcase the freshest and tastiest seafood from the Southern Sea. Excellent wines, a cheerful, relaxing atmosphere. There are also a few rooms to sleep in and the beach for a refreshing dip. Top dishes: the stuffed mussels, the pasta dishes, the freshest raw fish. I could live here! 🥰🙏♥️🌴🐬🦪🌊🦑

Breathtaking location, we booked a table on the rocks for two. We didn't have the tasting menu, but we chose some of the dishes that most piqued our interest. The staff was truly friendly, helpful, and patient (I had difficulty changing my reservation, but once we contacted them, they were quick and friendly). Service was fairly quick despite it being quite busy. The food was truly delicious and beautifully presented, perfect for a sunset treat. Their own wine was excellent, with a captivating flavor and aroma. The quality/price ratio was quite reasonable, especially considering the location is in the middle of the Gargano.

The best restaurant in the area. Simply fantastic, carved into the rock, and superb food. Highly recommended.

The location is worth more than the food, in my opinion. In the evening, you can reserve a table right on the rocks, which during the day gets too hot, but the place is definitely worth a visit. The menu is well-curated; there are various tasting menus, but you can also choose individual dishes if you prefer. The service is average, although I could improve a little. Is the bill worth the food? I don't know; it's a bit pricey in my opinion. As an alternative, I'd recommend an aperitivo!

We had dinner two nights ago, with a table booked well in advance on their website. The location was undoubtedly beautiful, the food was good, but the service was inadequate, making us feel unwelcome and eager to leave as quickly as possible. It's unfortunate that I completely agree with the previous review.
