Calvenere In Valli del pasubio

Siamo andati su consiglio di amici amanti della cucina sana. Posto stupendo, accoglienza unica, cena spettacolare. Cibo sano a km 0 (si sente!), piatti preparati con dedizione e amore per la cucina e per la natura (cena totalmente vegetariana/vegana). Dopo cena abbiamo scambiato anche due parole con la proprietaria e nelle sue parole abbiamo percepito tutta la passione che gia avevamo colto nell’atmosfera e nei piatti che ci hanno deliziato. Cosa voler di più? Sicuramente tornerò in primavera o comunque a pranzo per godermi questo fantastico posto anche di giorno.

Truly relaxing holiday. A magical place, the lady who manages it is magical, always ready to satisfy our every request, ready and present for everything we needed. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Splendid chalets, panoramic gardens and terraces. I recommend it to everyone at any time of the year. A place to regenerate.

The village is organized on a mountain side overlooking a breathtaking view towards Thiene and Schio. The houses are built with modern bio-architecture techniques which make them particularly comfortable and also fascinating: the contact with the natural elements of wood, stone, fire and air is very noticeable. Inside you will find everything you need: hob, fridge, crockery, linen, etc., and it is all easily usable thanks also to the attention to detail of the owners who have left numerous written instructions. Everything is served by a restaurant area which is welcoming and very refined, but with a very particular taste in furnishings... worth seeing!

Let's start by saying: what an amazing and beautiful place! It's very clear that the whole ground is a passion project of the owner. Everything is just right, right until every last single detail. We've stayed at one of the cabins for a week and that was so great. The house was really clean, had a modern interior, a GREAT shower and a decent kitchen area. The outside of the house was even better. It was a spacious area where our dog was allowed to roam free. The area has an amazing view over southern Italy from the seemingly last mountain row of the dolomites. Our cabin even had an outdoor shower. For those who like to hike: there are two entry points for some nice walking up the mountain really nearby. One is across the street at the lower car port. The other one is a small walk up the mountain. I did the former, which takes you to a 1500m high top and which is a nice hike that takes you through some old ruins. The owner is a lovely person who really did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible and loved having a little chat every now and then, even though she had to repeat herself over and over because my Italian is really bad. I figure she does a lot of art herself and that is spread throughout the whole area, the restaurant, the cabins and that gave everything such a nice finish and vibe. The restaurant was great as well. We are there the first and our last day of our stay. Wines were great and the food as well. They do some nice vegetarian dishes. First course a varying choice of different pasta dishes, second course some traditional polenta with multiple cheeses and vegetables. The desserts are all beautifully crafted, some with nice fresh fruit. Oh and everything they serve is grown biologically and organically so that's a plus. I've seen people complain about the way up, but really it isn't that bad. First time was a bit of a search, but the road is so low in traffic that you can take your time to safely drive up. Second time you drive the climb I'd say you're used to it already and it becomes a non-issue. To the owner: thank you for having us, we greatly enjoyed our stay and I hope to be back some day!

Restaurant surrounded by nature. Very well looked after both in the structure and in the menu. Incredible panorama Helpful and friendly staff. Recommended experience and to be repeated. We stayed overnight in one of the houses adjacent to the restaurant to celebrate an anniversary. In addition to the landscape view from the room, the meticulous cleanliness and harmony were appreciated. The wood stove, the furnishings and the first-rate cleanliness.

A real treat... we had lunch at Calvenere with friends. A place truly cared for down to the smallest detail, as is its cuisine. Really recommended!
