A restaurant in the historic center, next to the Duomo. Excellent food, in the Cosenza tradition, but with a more open mind. Impeccable service. Parking is difficult, but you're in the historic center, so you can't expect much. The price... let's say reasonable, but certainly not for a Saturday night out.

If you're looking to visit the historic center of Cosenza, Trattoria Calabria Bella, a name that speaks for itself, is the place to be. Eight of us, some of whom chose the first course (strigoli or lagane), others the second course (lamb or tagliata), were happy with their choices. The owner recommended an excellent "4 lustri" Magliocco wine.

In the heart of Cosenza's historic center, right next to the splendid Romanesque Cathedral, lies this splendid restaurant serving typical Calabrian cuisine, particularly from the Cosenza area! The owners are incredibly helpful and offer excellent dishes, complemented by an extensive wine list! Highly recommended!

05/05/2026: We visited Il Peperoncino Pizzeria da Asporto and were very satisfied! There were three of us and we ordered three pizzas: Salsiccia Fresca, Golosa, and Diavola. All the pizzas were very good, with well-made dough and fresh ingredients. The flavor was rich and well-balanced. For drinks, we had two 0.33-cl Peroni beers and a 0.33-cl can of Coca-Cola. Everything was served cold and quickly. The wait time was about 10 minutes, really quick. Even though it's a takeout pizzeria, we ate there—the atmosphere was simple but pleasant. The total bill was €27, a great price for the quality and quantity. Recommended!

29/12/2025: Friendly staff, excellent food, reasonable prices, and a stunning sea view. The tiramisu needs a rethink, but we'll definitely be back!
