Cozy restaurant in the heart of Cosenza, right next to the Duomo. Typical Calabrian dishes cooked with care and generous portions: the fusilli al ferretto and the lamb were truly exceptional. Friendly and fast service, simple but authentic atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended for those looking for real Calabrian cuisine!

Very good and delicious food. At first, we thought it was very little, but by the end, we were extremely full and no one in the group had finished their meal. It was actually quite a lot, and we would have asked for seconds.

next to the cathedral this place intrigues you already from the name. tables outside, to tell the truth under the sun since there is neither an awning nor any kind of cover. you enter you walk along this narrow corridor and you find two rooms of a decent size, about 100 seats if not more. good welcome, kind and attentive. abundant dishes, prepared almost as if you were making them at home, without particular refinements or techniques. they certainly do not make you remember, but to tell the truth they are not bad either. well do not expect gourmet, rather simple cuisine. prices are not cheap for what you eat, (quantity aside) we were treated well recommended if you do not have pretensions and want to have lunch or dinner in a restaurant with a family atmosphere.

A True Calabrian Gem in the Heart of Cosenza I stumbled upon Calabria Bella while visiting the Duomo in Cosenza, and what a find it was. I arrived a bit early, and despite the doors not officially being open yet, the entire family greeted me at the entrance with warmth and hospitality, that alone set the tone. Once seated, I was served a spectacular platter of Calabrian specialties: cured meats, aged cheeses, grilled vegetables, olives, and perfectly crisped fritti. Each bite told a story, one of tradition, pride, and quality. For my main, I went with the Tagliata over a bed of arugula and shaved Parmigiano. After a few days of pasta overload, it was exactly what I needed, tender, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The ice-cold beer was the perfect pairing, but the best surprise came after the meal, generous after-lunch shots and a great chat with the owner, who clearly treats every guest like extended family. The wall of celebrity photos confirms it, this place has history, character, and a reputation well earned. If you’re in Cosenza, don’t miss it. Grazie mille, Calabria Bella. I’ll be back.

Excellent restaurant with traditional dishes, abundant, very good service, and good prices. They welcomed us at a time when everything was closed. Highly recommended.

There is a very short walking path that you take before arriving in the rooms where you have lunch or dinner. This increases the curiosity to discover the classic environment of Calabria Bella. The quality is excellent. The service is perfect. You can also perceive the love for the profession from the delicate scent of napkins and tablecloths. The small succulent plant is auspicious and delicate.

We found it on the Routard website. Well, it's really very good. It's good, reasonably priced, and very welcoming. Go there with your eyes closed.

Acabamos de tener una deliciosa y tradicional comida en Calabria Bella. La comida era fresca, sabrosa y muy generosa, en porciones. También era muy asequible. El servicio fue excelente. Muy recomendable!

Location vicino al duomo, molto bella internamente. La pizza solo alla sera, mentre a pranzo ottimi piatti e buonissime verdure. Qui ho trovato un po' l'atteggiamento dei calabresi un poco freddini, ma devo essere sincera che ho pranzato molto bene.
