Caffe' Tommaseo In Trieste

Café Tommaseo impresses with its elegance and typical Viennese charm. Unfortunately, the seating (inside the café) is quite cramped. The service staff could be a bit more attentive and friendly. The selection of desserts is good, but it falls far short of Austrian confectionery standards. The issues mentioned are minor and shouldn't deter anyone from visiting; Café Tommaseo is always worth a visit.

Nice restaurant and very elegant. Food portions are small but tasty. Only problem is that they have places for big number of guests and only one unisex toilet.

A must-visit every time I'm in Trieste. On summer evenings, I've enjoyed a wonderful sunset while dining on delicious dishes. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Especially if you choose Dino, the service is impeccable thanks to his knowledge, kindness, and empathy. For wine, there's also a highly knowledgeable sommelier who can recommend the perfect pairing. In winter, you can enjoy the stunning and welcoming historic dining room. Not to be missed!
