During our stay in Florence, my mother, my sister, and I found Caffé mi Piace while searching for dinner. Although this lovely family-run business doesn't specialize in dinner, Roberto and his wife prepared us homemade pasta and soup that tasted heavenly. Roberto spoke lovingly about his wife, who does the cooking, and offered us dessert and a glass of wine. His gestures made us feel incredibly welcomed, and it was one of the most beautiful moments of our trip.

My boyfriend and I are lucky enough to be in Florence for 3 months and, a month in, we have been to Caffè Mi Piace probably 20 times. It has become our home away from home - we love to start our day there with a pastry and cappuccino. Roberto and Monica are incredibly welcoming, and patient even when we try (and usually fail) to practice our Italian with them. The delicious food and their kindness brings us back every day - definitely recommend stopping in if you can!
