Very modern place and to my personal taste, beautiful! When I come to Chiavenna, I often come to this place. Not a bad aperitif!

We were surprised by the hospitality! When ordering 2 crodinos we received a jar of chips and an appetizer platter. When we pointed out that we had not ordered this, the waiter told us that this was on the house.

Bar in the centre, with excellent products in a modern and refined environment. Kind in service. The only flaw are the bathrooms.... very, very poorly maintained/clean.

Servizio gentilissimo.Cordialità e rispetto. Briosche, torte, pasticcini e ogni altra cosa eccezionali. Sono anni che la frequento e non si smentisce mai. Perfetta. Giornali del giorno sempre a disposizione.

What can I say, elegance, decor, creative aperativs and great staff. Right in the centre of Chiavenna across from the train station. Stop here for breakfast on Saturday mornings after browsing at the centuary old market. Or meet friens for delicious finger food with sparkling aperativ while taking in immense beaity, inside and out.

Il Piccolo Chalet

06/01/2025: As soon as you arrive at the Piccolo Chalet you encounter a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff, very professional and friendly, immediately make you feel at ease. The menu offers a wide choice of exceptional typical dishes. We tasted several dishes including wild meat and more. Different types of wines are also offered, including a vast choice of Valtellina red wines. Excellent quality/price. Super recommended and added to the list of our top restaurants. Very small space so reservations required. PS. The shank really excellent.
02/01/2025: Very typical and intimate place, maximum 30 seats. We ate mixed cold cuts and onion soup, which were of a decent standard. What really made the difference was the shank, one of the best I've ever eaten. The desserts are also good and beautiful to look at. Excellent restaurant
