We went to Caffe Italia for breakfast on our last day in Rome. I had read good reviews. It’s quite spacious, aside from the various counters displaying beautiful pastries of all sorts, had a dining room. Cute spot, good amount of variety in pastries. The service was very good, fast, we were attended to efficiently. They were friendly and polite.
We ordered two pastries, croissants - one with Nutella one with Apricot, accompanied by coffee. Delicious! Savory and crunchy on the outside, soft and sweet in the inside.

A very pleasant place where you can have breakfast and dinner if you're staying near Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. They offer both savory and a wide variety of sweet treats, all with a nice pint of beer 😋. They have long opening hours and the waiters are very friendly. We went back several times because it was close to our hotel. Prices

They don't know a single word of English, and if you ask for a slice of pizza they'll bring you a whole one 😂 However, the croissants were delicious, the pizza was average! Not so clean place with pigeons walking around the tables!

One of the few places where you can find real pastry cream puffs!!! Real cream puffs, not the usual awful mini ones from Bulgarian pastry shops! And the cream puffs are extraordinary, a true rarity to be fully enjoyed. I go there specifically and every time I thank the pastry chef for making such delicacies. Highly recommended.

I was professionally served by the very friendly and kind counter staff, who offered me excellent lingue di gatto (cat tongues). High-quality pastries, reasonably priced.
