A wonderfully quiet place. Delicious croissants and cheesecake. A variety of desserts for every taste. A pleasant, atmospheric place to relax with delicious coffee and a sweet treat. Affordable prices.

Bar Italia is a historic bar on Via Santa Croce in Gerusalemme in the San Giovanni neighborhood. I used to go there often when I worked in the area, and I recently received a delivery. I must say, the quality is always excellent, the service is good. The only drawback is the parking, but considering it's centrally located, it's an excellent place to stop for a coffee or an aperitif. Highly recommend it.

We went to Caffe Italia for breakfast on our last day in Rome. I had read good reviews. It’s quite spacious, aside from the various counters displaying beautiful pastries of all sorts, had a dining room. Cute spot, good amount of variety in pastries. The service was very good, fast, we were attended to efficiently. They were friendly and polite. We ordered two pastries, croissants - one with Nutella one with Apricot, accompanied by coffee. Delicious! Savory and crunchy on the outside, soft and sweet in the inside. Recommended!

A very pleasant place where you can have breakfast and dinner if you're staying near Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. They offer both savory and a wide variety of sweet treats, all with a nice pint of beer 😋. They have long opening hours and the waiters are very friendly. We went back several times because it was close to our hotel. Prices

They don't know a single word of English, and if you ask for a slice of pizza they'll bring you a whole one 😂 However, the croissants were delicious, the pizza was average! Not so clean place with pigeons walking around the tables!

03/05/2026: Newly owned restaurant between Rome and Frascati. We'd heard about the delicious pinsa at a party, so we decided to try their food as well. The place is cute, well-maintained, and clean. It offers indoor seating and a terrace for the summer, which they close when the temperatures are lower. The owner is hospitable and up to the task. Everything is fantastic... from the appetizers to all the main courses. Here you can try simple and sophisticated dishes: cured meats, Roman-style tripe, beans with pork rind, chickpeas with truffle, tagliolini with blueberries, mushrooms, and bacon, all delicious and tender meat, and homemade desserts. ... The customer service is excellent, but what struck me most (being allergic to milk) is their attention to food intolerances... Here you can find dishes made with non-dairy cream!!! What can I say? We tried it three times and it wasn't enough... We'll be back often! I highly recommend it.
