After many years, Roberto, my father, returned to the Elvetico bar with friends and was pleasantly surprised by the significant change in the atmosphere: more functional, with new furnishings, tidy, clean, and elegant. The young owner offered a warm welcome, courteous and generous in preparing a delicious aperitif. He will definitely return to try the ravioli, which, he was assured, are hand-crafted using local ingredients. Not to forget a warm Clementi cinchona as a pleasant and excellent digestif.

The friendliness they have would be enough... add to that the fact that they give you good things to eat... they smile at you... they joke... they meet your every need... and what can I say: recommending it is the least we can do... truly a unique place even for families and groups (like for example our football team)... a real pleasure to have met them... and it doesn't end there...

Circolo Culturale Enogastronomico Archivi della Resistenza

08/09/2025: A truly beautiful place, nestled among the cool chestnut trees of Lunigiana. The museum and all the activities they host throughout the year are interesting. The Amaro del Partigiano liqueur is also excellent, and I never miss the opportunity to buy it. But the highlight of the place is the fantastic Fino al Cuore della Rivolta Festival, held in August. This year, the program of both debates and concerts was truly superb. Congratulations to all the volunteers who work there. The only downside: the long waits, especially at the social lunches.
02/09/2025: I spent two days there during the 2025 Festival della Resistenza. The archives are accessible through a multimedia experience. A truly wonderful atmosphere, wonderful people, interesting talks, and quality live music, all free of charge. The volunteers also prepare excellent food in the evenings, and there's a free camping area. I'll definitely be back in 2026.

01/10/2025: It was a very positive experience during a pleasant motorcycle ride with friends in the Lunigiana/Garfagnana Apennines. We were welcomed, hosted, and generously fed with warmth and friendliness by the owners, Cristina and her husband. I will gladly return and recommend it to anyone interested.
