Nice place, nothing to say, refined and very inviting location. Shame about the service, superficial, feeling of having done a disservice by entering and consuming. Shame, the location is definitely worth it.

A warm and welcoming atmosphere: among period paintings, vintage furnishings, and jazz music in the background, you'll be enchanted and transported to a bygone era. Friendly staff. Delicious and plentiful dishes (the pici alla norcina are out of this world). More than fair prices. Highly recommended.

While visiting Cortona by chance, we stopped here for lunch. We weren't expecting such delicious dishes of truffle pici and pistachio cream tagliatelle, especially at such a reasonable price. The food was excellent, and the wait was minimal. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere. It's definitely worth a lunch break.

Excellent place; we stumbled upon it while strolling through the streets of Cortona in the late afternoon. We ordered two typical first courses made with local products (very generous portions), mineral water, house wine, coffee, and a digestif. Upon arrival, they offered us an aperitif of warm pizzas, followed by dessert (zeppole di San Giuseppe). Paid €40.00 for two. Cute place, full of international students.

It's been years since I've had such generous portions at such a fair price. For us, that was a big yes!

I happened to pass by here while strolling through beautiful Cortona. This historic restaurant is located right in the center. We ordered three first courses, a pizza, a bottle of beer, a bottle of water, and two coffees. The pasta dishes were truly generous, something I don't think you'll find anywhere else in the area. They offered us a mini aperitivo with canapés and nachos, followed by a glass of Moscato wine with assorted pastries. The four of us spent just over €50. The price was truly reasonable. The service was helpful and fast. If you're passing by, stop by; I'm sure you won't go hungry.

We unexpectedly happened upon this restaurant looking for a cozy spot for lunch on a cold day. It was one of the best choices we have made on this journey. The atmosphere is amazing setting the tone with wonderful music in a beautiful location. It is quaint and cozy, and we found the service exceptional, and the food some of the best we have found. We were here for lunch and both had soup and while that may not sound exciting, trust me…you will not be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our lunch here. The Ribollita was so good and just what we needed when looking for a lighter meal. We learned the restaurant has been here since the 1970’s even got a smile from the owner! Don’t be turned off by some of the reviews I am glad we weren’t. Definitely will return!
