An excellent historic bar located in the heart of Cortona on Via Nazionale, where we enjoyed two excellent, delicious coffees standing at the bar. This bar, which has several tables inside and outside, offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The walls are adorned with photos of VIPs who have passed through this bar over the years. The barista was welcoming, kind, courteous, and competent, with attentive, fast service and good prices. We unexpectedly happened upon this restaurant looking for a cozy spot for lunch on a cold day. It was one of the best choices we have made on this journey. The atmosphere is amazing setting the tone with wonderful music in a beautiful location. It is quaint and cozy, and we found the service exceptional, and the food some of the best we have found. We were here for lunch and both had soup and while that may not sound exciting, trust me…you will not be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our lunch here. The Ribollita was so good and just what we needed when looking for a lighter meal. We learned the restaurant has been here since the 1970’s even got a smile from the owner! Don’t be turned off by some of the reviews I am glad we weren’t. Definitely will return!

I really like it here, food is above average and authentic, service is good, great atmosphere outside in summer and inside it’s really cosy in the cooler months. Great house wine and they do a good quality Campari Spritz. We go back often.

A super-honest little cafe. Everything is homemade and served with love. The pizza we had tasted excellent. Even though you might expect something different from the larger platter, hospitality is truly lived here. Thank you very much.

Nos sentamos fuera de este restaurante antes de haber leído TripAdvisor. ¡Igual de bien o puede que le hayamos echado IT una falta! IT fue hilarante una vez que leímos las críticas porque todo IT encajaba en su lugar. La comida era genial y abundante, pero el hombre alto y calvo murmuró sobre nosotros, nos apresuró a pedir, fingió que no entendía cuando estábamos haciendo todo lo posible para pedir en Italiano, rechazó un grupo de estadounidenses a pesar de dos mesas vacías fuera, pero dio la bienvenida a una pareja Italiano con entusiasmo. IT realmente era como Fawlty Towers y sentimos que nos habían preparado para aparecer en una farsa cómica. Encontramos toda la noche muy divertido y entretenido al final, pero IT fue muy extraño. Estoy seguro de que tocaba para el público porque el otro camarero era encantador. De todos modos la comida era genial y la factura era increíblemente razonable. El entorno es precioso, pero estaban apagando las luces a las 9 IT desprecia Google diciendo que está abierto hasta las 11. ITFue una experiencia!!
