Restaurant chosen by chance and it was a nice surprise! Really excellent cocktails, wine, pasta dishes! Well done to the chef! And very friendly staff. Right in front of the Pitti Palace.

Great food, friendly staff, so much better than cafe in Palazzo Pitti! We went into Pitti Palace at lunch time and were shocked at the prices in the cafe inside the courtyard (€7 for a soft drink - €15 for an aperol spritz!). We left again and went across the road to Caffe Bellini. The staff were so friendly, yet still authentic, and the food was really delicious!! Also great air con. Recommend you avoid the cafe inside the palazzo and to here for lunch!!

We went to eat as a family this morning and they treated us wonderfully. In particular, a waiter who spoke Spanish was very friendly and pleasant. We liked the food very much and they took into account the needs of the children.

Wow oh wow. The love overflows in this magical restaurant. I’m in from Los Angeles and I’ve come here twice in one week. The pasta is divine - and the drinks are life saving in the heat. I genuinely haven’t had food or service like this in Florence. Also a lovely touch were stunning paintings done by local Florence art students. If authenticity, charm, and downright show stopping food is what you’re after - stop here.

Although Bellini is definitely catered more toward tourists due to its location right outside Palazzo Pitti, my friends and I have enjoyed this comfortable and easy spot to eat enough to come back a second time! The boar pasta I had was delicious and filling, and my friend raved over the ravioli she had. The drinks are a little pricy for a cafe and the service is a little slow, but the staff is very nice and enjoyed being able to sit outside.
