Cafè Martèl In Verona

Just had drinks and pastries but the vibe was good. Polite and friendly staff with good service.

I've been to Café Martél and I must say it was a delightful discovery in the center of Verona. An elegant and welcoming place, just steps from the Arena, perfect for a relaxing breakfast or a break during the day. Their highlight? Their signature panzerotti, hot, cheesy, and truly irresistible. The coffee, croissants, and desserts are also excellent, all prepared with great care. A super pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and fast service. A place that manages to combine tradition and modernity, maintaining the typical energy of historic Veronese establishments. Definitely worth returning.

Well, the café is nice. The cappuccino was okay. Water comes in plastic bottles, and the cake, which looked great but tasted rather mediocre, was totally overpriced - €7.

Very kind staff, and the croissants are DELIGHTFUL!!! 💓 Definitely would recommend visiting!

Cafe Martel can be considered the temple of the panzerotto in Verona, given its very long tradition of this favourite afternoon snack. While the quality might not be still at its historical best, I still recommend to try it out in the afternoon. The location is also interesting, few steps away from the Arena, and compensate for what is, and has always been, a relatively dull interior. Service is as always kind and efficient!
