Cabane Du Combal In Courmayeur

Bel rifugio con un bel bar accogliente, posti all'aperto e al chiuso, cucina cin piatti caldi tipici oltre a panini, prezzi onesti, possibilitàdi rifillare l'acqua nella borraccia, tappa immancabile dopo una bella camminata, in mezzo alla bellezza della Valle, non troppo difficile di circa un'ora dal capolinea della navetta bus.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce refuge lors de notre TMB. Les chambres sont spacieuses et propose une sdb par chambre de 4 ce qui est très confortable pour un refuge. Les draps sont changés tous les jours ! L’accueil est sympa et la nourriture excellente. Le lac de Combal est à 10 minutes à pieds et il est possible de s’y baigner. Une vraie belle étape !

From brilliant scenery to staff, this is truly one of the best refuge in the whole of Tour du Mont Blanc. The refuge takes hygiene to another level, having zero bed bugs that are common in most of the other cabins I went to. Might be a bit expensive but the beautiful location just a few kilometers just of the town of Courmayeur. Highly recommend this place as it provides a lot of high quality rest especially if you just hiked from somewhere far. At that time, I just hiked from Refuge de la Croix du Bonhomme, which was a mountain hut in a great location but had questionable accommodation (which is reasonable because it was literally on top of a mountain.) Still, great place to visit.
