Fantastic restaurant, great food

One Michelin star restaurant, all the dishes were truly excellent, the service in the room to be reviewed comparing it to other starred, the location, pleasant, but that still did not drive me crazy. All in all Recommended.

Starred restaurant located on the hills around Reggio Emilia: the location is splendid especially when you arrive at sunset in summer; the interior is modern and elegant. We had a fish tasting: special and delicious dishes, just the right portions that fill you up. Impeccable service. Recommended for those who want to have a taste experience in a timeless place!

Great experience. The Michelin star is well deserved. It starts with the garden and the scents of aromatic herbs then a tasting dinner with food and wine pairing. Fantastic Chef and Sommelier, a place to remember. We will return. Worth every penny spent.

We booked a lunch at this remote but beautifully located restaurant. It was well worth the drive to get there. The building is modern with a rustic flare, so beautiful. The service was spectacular. The food was everything and more to expect from a Michelin Restaurant. Every plate was a work of art, with flavors that were unique and so delicious. The wine list is of course superb. And the chef went out of his way to accommodate certain food preferences. Our best meal in Italy!

Every year we try a starred restaurant and among these Ca' Matilde is perhaps the one that impressed me the most. Sometimes you hear that a chef tries to tell stories with his dishes... well the chef of this restaurant succeeds! Excellent service, the dinner was perfect in every way. We spent two nights in the b&b that I can definitely recommend (excellent quality/price ratio).

For my birthday I gave myself a special gift: a dinner at Ca' Matilde, a starred restaurant located in the hills of Reggio Emilia. I had already been there a few years ago and going back was like reopening a beautiful memory, but with something more. Chef Andrea Incerti Vezzani's cuisine is a true sensorial experience: elegance, technique and flavor in every dish. ● WHAT I ATE: I chose the seafood menu. A refined journey through aromas and textures, with well-plated dishes, top quality ingredients and balanced combinations. Each course arrived like a little story, to be savored calmly. ● WHAT I DRINK: a Trento DOC Nature, classic method, fresh and perfect to accompany every dish on the menu. ● LOCAL: elegant but not cold, with well-kept spaces. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for enjoying dinner without rushing. ● STAFF: impeccable service, attentive waiters, present at the right time but never intrusive. Professional and friendly, they make the experience even more pleasant. ● PRICE: in line with a starred restaurant and the experience offered. A gift worth giving. ● TIP: if you are looking for a truly special dinner in a relaxed and refined setting, this is the right place. Book in advance, especially on weekends or for special occasions.

A star. More than deserved. The menu: excellent! The wines: wonderful accompaniment! The service: relaxed, classy and very attentive. We'll be back.

Per chi ha voglia di essere coccolato da un servizio superlativo, vini che generano sensazioni meravigliose e una cucina in perfetto equilibrio tra la tradizione e la capacità di innovare. E' un'esperienza da non perdere! Lasciatevi consigliare dalla gentilissima Signora che vi accoglierà, provate qualche vino che non conoscete, il sommelier vi farà sognare Gli antipasti, semplici, con pochi ingredienti ma lavorazioni interessantissime vi renderanno predisposti a ciò che segue, e anche i più semplici tortelli, verdi o di zucca, vi stupiranno per la sottigliezza e la consistenza della pasta. Una cena qui è davvero tanta roba!

Esperienza unica e meravigliosa tutto perfetto dalla qualità del cibo all'ottimo abbinamento con i vini impeccabile il servizio scelto il menù di mare sicuramente ritorneremo stella Michelin strameritata... complimenti
