My husband organized a surprise lunch. A truly special experience, a welcoming place with friendly staff. Excellent wine list. The dishes were special, needless to say. The menu was inspired by traditional Reggio Emilia cuisine, and everything was truly excellent. The dessert was exquisite, and the coffee was exquisite. An experience I'd definitely repeat for a special occasion.

We chose the Cielo menu for dinner, which features both seafood and meat dishes.
We had a great time. Perhaps a little too much vegetables in the various dishes, but we appreciate the green star.
The wine list is excellent.

If anyone needs to make amends, a lunch at Ca' Matilde is an experience capable of calming the spirits and re-establishing a connection. Perhaps it's the delicate balance of flavors in each dish, or perhaps the care with which you're welcomed and accompanied between courses, but it's certain that when you return home you're a little different from when you arrived. I savored the six-course Hortus menu, a journey through vegetal flavors, and I appreciated the great craftsmanship, but also the healthy dose of passion and curiosity required to transform the earth's products into dishes that are not only delicious, but also reveal a note, a nuance, a contrast with each bite. What was once the vaulted stable of a country estate has become an elegantly understated space, in dialogue with the surrounding nature through the large window. The cellar offers a wide selection of Italian wines, as well as selections from other countries. I will return to try other offerings, as the menu embraces seasonality.

Valentine's Day evening. The menu was specially crafted by the chef, unforgettable, a feast of flavors with expert and fantastic pairings. Highly recommended. The venue and staff were welcoming and professional. A wonderful experience.

I had dinner at this restaurant with my partner to celebrate both our birthdays.
Since we don't eat meat, on their recommendation we opted for a blend of the vegetarian and fish menus, and we couldn't have made a better choice!
Every dish we tried was pleasantly surprising; we were particularly impressed by how all the seasonal vegetables were showcased in each dish.
The location is truly beautiful, the service attentive and courteous, and the bill commensurate with the experience.
I will definitely be back!
