Ca' Matilde was a fantastic journey through flavors, ingredients, attention to detail, friendliness, and impeccable craftsmanship. I highly recommend this experience, and I hope to return.

Andrea on the helm and the talented Marcella in the dining room will take you on a sensory journey that reaches the pinnacle of fine dining. Careful research into the finest ingredients, many grown in the restaurant's own garden, meticulously prepared dishes, and a relaxing, elegant, and welcoming atmosphere are the hallmarks of this restaurant. It's worth discovering this hidden gem nestled among the fields of the Reggio Emilia countryside at the foot of the first rolling hills of the Apennines.

Everything was impeccable, from the location to the staff, the service, and the professionalism. Nothing was left to chance. The setting and atmosphere perfectly complemented the fantastic menu, where every aroma and flavor truly captivated me, even thrilled me. It's truly an experience worth trying. It was my second time here, and... I can't wait to go back.

It was a gastronomic journey between land and sea, foods prepared just right without overdoing it with too many flavors. So many wonderful sensations and vibes emanate from the kitchen, where the waiters convey all the chef's passion. Elegant, clean venue. Tables are carefully and meticulously set. Excellent furnishings. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The location, in the beautiful surrounding countryside, is free from distracting noises. However, it is subject to the inherent inconveniences of working agriculture (which, however, I didn't mind), so my overall impression is more than positive.

I give it 5 stars because, unfortunately, there aren't any more. This evening we went to dinner for our anniversary and tried a tasting menu that sublimely delighted our palates. The staff was attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable, but without being intrusive. Every course, from the entrée to the dessert, was a thrill and a discovery, both for the visit and the taste. Finally, they gave us a complimentary miniature pastry to celebrate this important date! A truly unexpected thoughtfulness! We are grateful to the kitchen and staff at Ca' Matilde for this experience, which fortunately is close to home! (We didn't stay at the Locanda, but I give it 5 stars on trust!)

A beautiful restaurant in a great location. The atmosphere is modern and refined. The staff is extremely kind and precise in their descriptions of the dishes, even in English if needed. The dishes are a feast for the eyes and a delight for the palate. Marcella is a fantastic hostess. It will be an unforgettable experience for me.

Tutto perfetto ! La padrona di casa ci ha veramente fatti sentire a nostro agio e voglio rivolgerle un grande apprezzamento per averci consentito il cambio del vino non perché avesse difetti ma perché non aveva le caratteristiche che credevamo . Non lo ha nemmeno inserito nel conto ! Pietanze di altissimo livello che valorizzazione la stagionalità e una location fresca a dispetto della temperatura . Essendo il compleanno di mia moglie hanno sostituito il dolce della degustazione con una torta personalizzata senza sovrapprezzo! TOP !!!

Partiamo dalla Liguria appositamente per mangiare in questo ristorante conosciuto tramite Internet. Il ristorante è ricavato in quello che sembra un vecchio casale contadino, un addetto ci accoglie e accomodare all aperto sotto un pergolato. Tutto è pulito e in ordine .viene servito il un aperitivo con degli stuzzichini deliziosi. Due camerieri molto professionali ci illustrano ogni portata del percorso degustativo da noi scelto, gli intramontabili. la qualità regna sovrana ogni piatto è estremamente curato e qualitativamente eccellente . Tutto il pranzo si trasforma in una incredibile esperienza. Il prezzo pagato è assolutamente allineato alla qualità del cibo ,del servizio e del posto. Veramente consigliato. Torneremo presto.
