One of the best we found in Palermo (Mondello): exquisite food (first-class tasting), extraordinary service, delicious wines, welcoming music. Highly recommended!

I can't judge the chef's cuisine, but only the Japanese format proposed in February. For me it doesn't live up to the reputation of the restaurant. I expected much much more. The highlight, in my opinion, was the ramen. The rest is a bit disappointing

We tried the experience of the Japanese pop-up restaurant, feeling nostalgic for the flavors we tried in Japan and it was excellent: we rediscovered the authentic flavors of Japanese cuisine. All the dishes were expertly described, the choice of cooking the Wagyu in the dining room by chef Matsuguma was wonderful (really excellent beef with a delicious sauce!). Thanks to chef Di Benedetto who brought these splendid flavors to Palermo!

Piacevolessima iniziativa del Bye Bye Blues che per un paio di mesi si trasforma in ristorante tradizionale giapponese. Niente a che vedere con il sushi più o meno abborracciato che per lo più si trova in città, qua una parte degli ingredienti proviene realmente dal Giappone, e gli chef non sono cinesi o vietnamiti... Il menù proposto è fisso e sarà variato ogni due o tre settimane, il costo è abbordabile, 50€ escluse bevande e coperto (4€). E' disponibile anche una lista di vini giapponesi e una bella carta di Sakè. - Antipasto: Ostrica al vapore; Agedashi tofu in brodo di dashi; Harumaki; Kimpira; Nuta - Riso al vapore con alghe fermentate; zuppa di miso - Tempura di pesce e verdure - Yakiniku - Ramen -Dolce al tè matcha. - vino: Loibner Gruner Veltliner 2018 - Weingut Knoll. Conto per due persone 175€. Nel complesso, dal punto di vista gustativo darei un bel 8½-9; molto curato e attento il servizio, elegante l'ambiente. Consigliato a tutti, imperdibile per gli amanti della cultura giapponese.

Abbiamo deciso di approfittare della Japan Experience che al Bye Bye Blues hanno deciso di far provare temporaneamente. Il menù fisso prevedeva antipasti di ostriche al vapore, agedashi tofu in brodo di dashi, harumaki, kinpira, tempura di pesce, yakiniku, ramen. A parte riso al vapore con alghe e verdure fermentate e la zuppa di miso. Come dolce un tiramisù al macha con gelato alla vaniglia e fagioli dolci. Abbiamo preso un vino bianco anch'esso giapponese (anfora bianco). Ottimi i piatti, piacevole la preparazione live della carne (yakiniku), buonissimo il dolce al macha è stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Consiglio di associare al dolce un sakè, ne avevano 2. Abbiamo provato quello più delicato ed era squisito. Il conto è stato adeguato al servizio e alle materie prime.

28/05/2025: A pleasant experience: excellent food and beautiful interior. A restaurant with a tradition behind it, not improvised, and it shows. Careful and delicious dishes, attentive service. Slightly above average bill, but absolutely justified by the quality of the dishes. Recommended.

24/05/2025: Yesterday we had the pleasure of choosing this catering for my daughter's party and we can't help but express our total satisfaction. The service was impeccable in every aspect: from the first contact with the team, always professional and available, until the end of the evening, when they were truly attentive to every need. The quality of the food was simply spectacular. Each dish was carefully prepared, elegantly presented and, above all, delicious. You could feel the freshness of the ingredients and the skill of the chefs in combining flavors. The guests were all enthusiastic, and many asked me the name of the catering! In addition, the staff was always courteous, smiling and ready to satisfy every request, without ever being intrusive. The organization was perfect, and everything was served with timing and attention. We couldn't have made a better choice. We highly recommend this catering to anyone looking for a quality service, both for small and large events. Thanks again for helping to make my daughter's party a truly special experience!
