This is the restaurant of the Viberti family, who also own the eponymous winery. The food is excellent; all the dishes we tried were well-executed and made with top-quality ingredients. Everything is paired with their excellent wines.
A wonderful experience, I'll do it again and I highly recommend it.

A Timeless Gem in Barolo – Even Better Than I Remember
I returned to Buon Padre in Vergne after first visiting in 1998 during a wine-tasting trip with friends to Viberti — and it was just as memorable as all those years ago.
The restaurant remains a small, stylish, and truly classic place, with an atmosphere that reflects the very best of Piedmont. The wines from their own Viberti winery are of exceptional class — among the finest in the region — and pair beautifully with the meal.
We enjoyed an evening of authentic, traditional Piemontese cuisine, each dish prepared with care and depth of flavor. The staff were extremely friendly, warm, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcomed — a level of hospitality that is hard to find.
A wonderful experience in every way. A must-visit when in Barolo.

We visited this place on the recommendation of hotel owner. It's a cozy restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Piemonte cuisine.
White truffle dishes were so delicious, of course, but panna cotta—served with caramel sauce—was the most delicious we have ever had!

We had lunch here after a tasting at the Viberti winery (owned by the same owner) in September, and I loved it so much that we're heading to Piedmont in March, and I'll definitely be visiting this restaurant again.

A restaurant from another era, with attention to detail and customer service. The dining room evokes the history and family management of the place, but with a modern approach. The service is excellent, thanks to the tireless presence of Claudio, a professional and very friendly host!
The menu offers a selection of traditional dishes of the highest quality (the tajarin are the best in the Langhe!) and seafood dishes. A beautiful wine list, but I recommend asking Claudio or trying the wines from the eponymous winery—Derthona, delicious!

A truly special experience, starting with a tasting in their cellar: impeccable service. Marco, extremely knowledgeable and attentive, guided us through the selection and explanation of each bottle we tasted, as well as through our personalized dinner.
We began with appetizers: scallops and eggs with fondue and truffle, all delicious. Then they offered us their signature dish, plin with ragù: exquisite. Next, we had plin with fondue and truffle and shoulder fillet with fondue sauce, both exceptional.
The desserts were also excellent: fior di latte gelato, bonet and chocolate with Volpedo peaches in syrup.
All washed down with a bottle of Buon Padre 2019, perfect for dinner.
A truly memorable evening, top quality and impeccable service. Highly recommended!

Very friendly and attentive waiter, but unfriendly lead person (chef???). The food is very delicious, but the portions are quite small, especially if you don't order a set menu!
