A restaurant steeped in history, a family-run establishment, but that doesn't detract from its professionalism. The family is always attentive to the needs of its guests. This restaurant is located right next to our campsite, within walking distance. We were all the more amazed by this fantastic restaurant, which we weren't expecting. We chose the four-course menu with wine pairing and were overwhelmed. Fine dishes paired with Piedmont's top wines. The service was very friendly and attentive. A visit to Buon Padre is highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant in the municipality of Barolo. We had lunch starting with the appetizer. The sweetbreads were excellent and tasty, as was the very delicate vegetable. We continued with the veal cheek (sublime) and the classic taierin with ragù. The price was adequate for the quality of the food. The service was attentive. Recommended.

Unico ristorante a Vergne (frazione di Barolo) che offre piatti della cucina locale con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Qualche dettaglio da migliorare come ad esempio i menu degustazione che possono essere serviti solo se richiesti da tutti i commensali. Scelta inspiegabile visto che il menù offre gli stessi piatti presenti nel menu. Niente da dire sulla qualità dei piatti, nota speciale per il brasato al Barolo, davvero interessante.
Peccato per qualche dettaglio migliorabile.
