Buffet Vita In Trieste

Excellent for a sandwich and/or Trieste specialties (cauldron). So far, I've always had quick options, and they're always very good. Margherita is always very kind and helpful, and her smile adds to the quality of the food.

Informal atmosphere, excellent food, whether you order a sandwich or a meal with first and/or second courses.

We used to frequent Buffet Vita often and had a pretty good time, until one evening last summer, when we went there for our usual sandwich, sat down, they set the table for us, and the kind owner came to order. Only then did she inform us that every (Wednesday?) in the summer they ONLY serve seafood. Once we were seated, we ordered, and ended up spending the same amount as at a high-end seafood restaurant. The food was still good and the fish was fresh, but honestly, we felt a bit trapped.
