We deliberately went there during our stay in Trieste, following advice from influencers on the web. Small, quaint, informal place. The owner is a delightful person who was able to advise us. You can eat the dish of the day, strictly from Trieste, or dive into the canapés. We opted for a delicious typical lunch. Absolutely must try!

We read about the arrival in the slow food guide which spoke very highly of it but the reality even exceeded our expectations!
We ate very well, from starters to desserts and the wines recommended by the host were also special.
Since it was Good Friday, the menu included fish; the sea bass tartare was delicious, not to mention the calamarata, mouth-watering!
The host and all the staff were really kind and welcoming.
We will be back and absolutely recommend it!

A tip from our landlord. And this tip was brilliant. As a tourist you wouldn't find this wonderful restaurant. Pure enjoyment of life. The prices are really cheap. A real insider tip.

Non capisco che problemi possa avere chi mette una stella… ogni esperienza è a sé, certo, ma già solo la qualità del vino, dei piatti a buffet e dei cicchetti vale 5 stelle.
Il servizio è ottimo, l’ambiente super tradizionale è autentico… in 3 giorni a Trieste sono stato qui 2 volte, perché mi h veramente conquistato.
Se volete provare ottimi vini autoctoni, semplicemente lasciatevi consigliare dal proprietario.

Sempre una tappa valida nel panorama di buffet triestini; questo è un posti sempre allegro, caldo, si mangia e beve bene. Unica cosa, io vorrei trovare più vini carsolini/istriani che del Collio/friulani.
