It is one of the remaining typical Trieste buffet restaurants. Definitely worth a visit if you can get a spot. But it's definitely worth the wait. Here you get a feeling of how people come in for a quick meal, choose something from the display case and then dine there with a glass of wine. Everything was delicious and it was a highlight of our visit to Trieste.

Typical Trieste Buffet, but the friendliness of the staff makes the difference, obviously what they offer you with always fresh daily offers also makes the difference. Try it for a meal, an aperitif. It's always the right time to go. Well done

Locale piccolo, informale ma molto accogliente, frequentato da persone del posto: è possibile fare uno spuntino con piatti tipici triestini di buona fattura Proprietari molto gentili e disponibili a spiegare le proprie proposte.

We called in for lunch and had delicious gnocchi, roasted vegetables and mushrooms. They have lots of local, regular customers and they were equally welcoming to strangers… they were extremely friendly and helpful. Great value too.
