Fabulous meal, one of the best we have had in central Bologna, they isn't OTT fine dining, great menu,great service and great location. Will come again and recommend you any one.

walking around the center of Bologna my boyfriend and I stopped to observe a bit the environment and the atmosphere of this restaurant, entering we were welcomed very well and the staff very very kind and polite perfect service and very good food! highly recommended!!

The food was good and the service was great, but the plate came a little too light for what they cost. Be prepared to spend for a second or third plate if you want to leave this place truly full.

Nice restaurant. The music was pretty horrible when we were there (they were blasting 70s and 80s pop) but they turned it down when we asked. The food was good enough, although a little on the expensive side.

What can I say? The food was absolutely delicious and especially the service of Ansar Anwar was absolutely great. Thanks so much for this wonderful experience! We will visit again !

Alla fine quello che si paga è la posizione in pieno centro ma in luogo tranquillo, in quanto 15 euro per un piatto di ravioli in brodo è un prezzo eccessivo. Comunque buoni.

This is a great place. Right in amongst the action but in a courtyard so you don’t feel as tough you are eating in the middle of a pedestrian highway. Great food and service. We went with a group of 10 or so and it was great. There are better places in Bologna for an intimate experience, but great to sit and watch the evening go by.

I went with my partner on Friday 9 May, taking advantage of a 20% The Fork discount! Place in the center of Bologna, 80s atmosphere, background music in line with the aforementioned years and excellent typical Bolognese dishes! The waiter Maurizio was very kind, courteous and attentive to best satisfy all our curiosities and needs! Compliments!

23/06/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant and had a great experience! The Bolognese trio (tagliatelle with ragù, lasagna and tortellini) was excellent, the staff was very kind and the waiting times were short
18/06/2025: We have been to this restaurant several times and each time we have eaten very well. Here, the typical Bolognese cuisine is the protagonist, with special attention to the Mortadella di Bologna, the absolute queen of the menu. For the first time in my life, I tasted an entire meal based on mortadella: paté, carpaccio and other delicacies. The dishes are simple but really tasty, prepared with great care and attention to detail. Another strong point is the service: the waiter who served us is always kind and, with great pleasure, remembers us every time we return. This really makes the difference - because it shows that for them the customer is important, not just a number. I highly recommend!

Locanda dei Fienili del Campiaro

02/06/2025: We stopped by one Sunday by chance, looking for fresh air away from the city of Bologna. With such a rustic name we expected traditional cuisine. Instead we found fresh fish to convince the mouth of a Bari native, and recipes composed with simple ingredients but with the same art of a painter. Then Beppe, host and guide, was more than welcoming, so much so that we let time pass, and resumed the journey only at the first golden lights of sunset. The Campiaro barns are there in front and the exhibition of the works of Morandi's students amazed us, but perhaps we understood something important about the spirit of the place (thanks Milena). Thanks Norma and Beppe
