I felt very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was freshly prepared and tasted excellent. The staff is very friendly. The price/performance ratio is right.

We went for dinner. They set the table for us near the terrace which has a spectacular view. A very warm welcome and star restaurant service, always attentive to the needs of diners. Tuscan cuisine reigns supreme. Good food and the house wine wasn't bad at all either. In this spring period it is also possible to eat tagliatelle with blackthorns. Truffles and porcini mushrooms are available almost all year round (they are wonderful when fried). Also suitable for those who eat gluten-free.

Definitely still a good restaurant but worse than a few years ago. You won't stop craving mushrooms and truffles on Sunday with the fixed menu at €40 each all inclusive. All good, but nothing exceptional. There is some refresher but not with mushroom and truffle based things.

We stayed 2 nights at the Buca di Michelangelo while visiting the La Verna Sanctuary at the beginning of a walking pilgrimage.  The tour company chose the place and booked the reservation.  It was a very beautiful location and our room (not in the main house) was very comfortable.  We had what might be called a two room suite in an adjoining building (it had a combination Living Room, Dining Room, & Kitchen, along with a nice size Bedroom and a Bathroom with a shower).  Everything was first class but the best part of the stay was the staff.  They went out of  their way to get us comfortable settled in our rooms,  they prepared outstanding meals for our group and were flexible with their dining schedule to meet the group needs.  I would definitely stay there again if I had the opportunity.

Excellent in everything. First courses fantastic, second courses equally so. Good wine list.

Ambiente molto semplice ma caratteristico , dall’antipasto sublime si secondi a base di carne. Visto che siamo stati a cena abbiamo evitato i primi ma .. vedendoli passare ti fanno venir la voglia sicuramente di ritornare. Superlativo!!!!

la carne secondo me nella zona e la migliore poi il vino rosso ovvio e da solo fortunato perche non prenoto mai ma altrimenti bisogna prenotare
