The hotel combines warmth, hospitality, and the art of fine cuisine in a refined ambiance.
The room, while not new, is very well maintained and well heated.
We stayed here from October 25th to 26th.
It's only a few steps—albeit uphill—to Michelangelo's birthplace.
In my opinion, the value for money is very good.

The restaurant is strategically located for visiting Michelangelo's birthplace. The menu focuses on local products, with a wide variety of first courses, from black truffle to porcini mushrooms, not to mention ravioli and tortelli in various sauces. I also had a top-notch black truffle steak accompanied by truly delicious fried porcini mushrooms, undoubtedly the best I've ever eaten. They also have the lovely habit of offering guests complimentary roasted chestnuts at the end of the meal. The service is exceptionally friendly, thanks to the owner and the other lady in the dining room. Finally, the price/quality ratio is truly hard to beat; I highly recommend it.

The quality of the food and the hospitality of the owners make this place not to be missed. The panoramic view is also wonderful. The grandmother's mushrooms in oil and the fillet with porcini mushrooms are highly recommended. The bone-in Florentine steak, a Tuscan specialty, is sublime. Don't forget to ask for the fried porcini mushrooms. The house red wine is also truly delicious. Good value. Annalisa, the owner, is kind and hospitable. A truly unique food and wine experience. Parking is available near the restaurant. Recommended.

I'm speaking for the restaurant... to say excellent or wonderful is simply an insult to them...there are no adjectives to describe it...I've just been a customer there for 20 years...
Annalisa, her father, and her mother are truly great; extremely wonderful and down-to-earth people.
