Brasserie du Grimod In Gressan

A setting amidst the buildings on the square. The all-wood interior gives it a typical mountain feel, with a beautiful pizza oven and its open preparation area. One of the only restaurants in the area offering raclette and tartiflette (too salty). Unfortunately, it's the end of the season, and many dishes are unavailable; we have to make do with what's left. The service is pleasant and friendly until our waitress bursts into tears after the arrival of what appears to be the manager, creating a bad atmosphere.

Everything is great, but the pizza dough is too crispy.

Finding a seat was a challenge but the food was priceless.

Don't be fooled by the absolutely pumping music outside. Honestly it put us off for several nights. Inside it's a lovely place with quiet music and delicious food. The staff were wonderful and my scent of the forest sausages were second to none!

Ein authentisches, warmes Ambiente mit Holzeineintichtung-beim Eintreten empfängt uns ein angenehmer, feiner Duft nach Rauch (vom Pizza Holzofen). Wir haben uns für eine typische Spezialität entschieden - Raclette. Sehr lecker! Und es gab Nachschlag, bis man satt war. Zum Dessert verwöhnte ein "gelato valdostano" underen Gaumen - ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen! Eine freundliche und aufmerksame Befienung rundete den Besuch ab. Wir werden wieder kommen!

Excellent for "après ski". Excellent cocktails and beer. Dinner was decent.

Around the corner from our hotel so we went many times in our ski week. Such a lovely atmosphere, really friendly staff and chilled out vibe. They don't start food until 7 which is a bit late for our kids but it was pretty similar in most places. Food and drink was great and really good value. They don't overbook so it really didn't get too busy (we went Monday-Friday so not sure about weekends).
