Like every other place I visited in the Pienza area, it was fantastic. As you can imagine Italy is more of a wine forward country and I was delighted to visit a brewery and was not disappointed. It was a nice atmosphere and they had some great beers.

Taproom attached to the microbrewery of the same name, located at the Agriturismo La Fonte. An idyllic location nestled in the stunning Val d'Orcia scenery, just a short distance from Pienza. Regarding beer production, this is a top-notch brewery, especially for its Anglo-Saxon beers and numerous barrel-aged beers, such as its Imperial stouts. The bottom-fermentation beers are also top-notch.

10/11/2025: A place to be and indulge in simple, honest Tuscany cuisine - what a pleasure to had the chance to get a sweat spot on a Saturday for lunch. We come back!
05/10/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant in the historic center of Sarteano, and what can I say? It was a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was homey, and the owner offered us delicious Cinta Senese ham as an appetizer. We ordered: a platter of cured meats and cheeses, pici all'aglione, ravioli with butter and sage, baked potatoes, biscotti and vin santo, red wine and coffee. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared. The portions were generous, and the prices were more than fair. We'll definitely be back!

25/12/2025: The food is excellent. I don't know what the wine is like because I don't drink alcohol if I have to drive like so many others do in Italy who then crash into guardrails and kill innocent people... 🤷 If you have to drive to Milan and already start drinking wine here, I don't know how far you'll go... ..hoping you don't kill innocent people.. 🤷
21/11/2025: Local honest dishes. At lunch full with locals and that says enough about the quality of this trattoria Pappardelle al cinghiale (wild boar) you have to try . Also the antipasti platter was very good. Fair prices, also for the wine. Friendly service.
