I haven't eaten animal products for years, yet here I am, giving Bracerie Venete a well-deserved 5 stars. I had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant at a company dinner. Before entering, I was curious to know what I would be eating (I had little or no idea) and how I would be greeted (I often found myself being harassed by angry gestures). And yet, I was warmly welcomed. The staff made no bones about it, offering a few pleasant jokes, which only helped put me at ease and in a generally good mood. I also asked a few questions to find out where and how they source their meat, and I appreciated the care they take in their selection, clearly paying close attention to the quality of the animals' lives. Their "ethical" standards are certainly very high, and this is reflected in the taste of the meat, which my colleagues greatly appreciated. So, what did they feed me? Delicious dishes, prepared especially for me off the menu. A creamy vegetable soup with walnuts and pumpkin, one of the best mushroom soups I can remember, and several other truly delicious side dishes (I don't remember everything exactly). The quality of the ingredients and the preparation truly amazed me. So, considering the friendly staff and a vegetarian menu prepared especially for me, 5 stars are well deserved (from a "vegan"). Also, based on the enthusiasm of my colleagues, I would recommend this place to anyone who eats meat!

On a cold evening, we stumbled upon this restaurant. The staff was very young, the service excellent, everyone was friendly and helpful (though they need more experience), and the food was very interesting. The weak point...the wine. Although it paired well, the labels were too predictable. Such unique food deserves special wines. Anyway, it's worth a try.

In a word: excellent! Let's start with the highlight, the food. Extremely carefully prepared dishes, bold flavors, and never-before-seen combinations! The dishes that impressed me most: the raw egg with pecorino and guanciale, and the dessert (grilled panettone with cream). The cuts of meat deserve special mention, demonstrating meticulous research and an in-depth knowledge of the product (we chose the German variety). A special mention also goes to the extremely kind and professional waiters.

We ate at this fantastic restaurant the other night, Bracerie Venete in Trieste. Superbly refined, and the dishes were truly delicious. We started with egg white and guanciale, a true explosion of flavors. For appetizers, we chose two off-menu items, each better than the last. We then continued with guanciale with taragna polenta, absolutely delicious. Also not to be missed are the ribs, so tender and melt-in-the-mouth, among the best we've ever tasted. Impeccable service: excellent, friendly, and attentive waiters, capable of making our evening wonderful. Highly recommended for anyone in Trieste!
