The absolute best seitan I’ve ever eaten! The chefs are wizards! It was incredibly good! One of the best meals I’ve ever had. If you are vegan or vegetarian and miss the taste and texture of meat then you must come here and try their seitan. Also the book shop is great, and the staff are amazing, a hidden gem

Surprisingly calm oasis with great staff, great food and great coffee in a beautiful setting. Offered a nice change from the classic Florence trattorias

I came here to browse and enjoy lunch. The space is so calming and out of the way of the busy city center. The store is very thoughtfully designed with a charming courtyard area followed by an intimate restaurant. Service was lovely and accommodating for my gluten allergy. I enjoyed their greek salad and avocado carpaccio- light, fresh, and full of flavor. A great place to relax and find a moment of peace.

Brac is a place that is outside the norm of Florentine restaurants. A bookshop, bar, restaurant and much more. But above all, it is an excellent choice for vegetarians/vegans or even for those who want to try truly delicious meat-free dishes. In addition to individual dishes, it is also possible to take 3 or 2 dishes together (of a smaller quantity if you take the single dish) for the price of €20. The dessert is also delicious. I will definitely return, it was truly a beautiful evening.

Lascio una recensione dopo aver "visitato" il locale diverse volte. In breve........... locale "alternativo" con arredamento accogliente ed appropriato. Ottima varietà del menù che propone ottimi piatti vegetariani e vegani. Buona ed ampia la cantina. Possibilità di mangiare piatto unico auto composto che ti sazia ampiamente grazie alle porzioni generose. Personale estremamente gentile e disponibile. Unica pecca.........scelta delle birre minimale e mancanza di birre artigianali che, secondo me, darebbero valore aggiunto al servizio e che non si sposerebbero male con diverse pietanze proposte. Servizio un po' "lento" ma che, a mio parere non è un male perché permette l'ampliamento dei rapporti interpersonali aiutato anche dall'assoluta assenza di linea telefonica e connessione dati che ti obbliga a lasciare in tasca il lobotomizzatore. Entrare e sedersi alla Brac è sempre un’esperienza! E’ come essere sospesi tra una libreria e un ristorante che poco a che fare con il caos turistico di Firenze! Con la convivialità di un cibo gustoso e veg, accanto ai vini mai banali. Torniamo spesso nel nostro posto del cuore…senza farci mancare l’insalata cavolo e mele! Un must!
