Being a restaurateur is a very, very important profession, and here in this establishment you can see that someone knows what they're doing. There's no room for improvisation, everything is taken care of down to the last detail, from the menu to the wine list to the desserts. The result, of course, is a feast for the palate. Well done, well done!

Once again delighted and satisfied, we dined al fresco in the beautiful little square in the historic center. The restaurant is very welcoming, as is the host and all the staff. The menu is extensive but not overwhelming, offering many traditional Apulian dishes, carefully prepared and paired to bring out the flavors. The osteria's appetizers are delicious, featuring five of the chef's specialties, including a fantastic version of the traditional tomato cialledda and the crispy egg on mashed potatoes and summer truffle. The meats (from donkey, to marretto, to cheek) are excellent, as are the desserts. The wine list is extensive and well-organized. Very fair prices.

Very welcoming atmosphere; excellent lunch. The staff wasn't very friendly. We arrived 10 minutes before the 12:45 start time, and they weren't very happy to let us in, even though we had two elderly parents. Their attitude towards customers was very aloof.

We visited this restaurant with our family in early August. Everything we ate was excellent, but there were two things that really stood out: the cold soup that was part of the appetizer, which was truly special, and these gnocchi, which I couldn't help but photograph. Compliments to the chef!

Este era el restaurante de Apulia. Restaurante de primera clase que sirve comida fresca imaginativa. Hermosos vinos orgánicos. Curiosamente, los propietarios eran los mejores amigos del propietario de un restaurante en nuestra ciudad natal en el que habíamos estado antes de irnos a Italia. Vale 2o 3o 4o... Visitas

20/09/2025: Beautiful experience, beautiful location, excellent service, I would recommend when it's too hot, especially the raw seafood, place it where there is a bit of shade 😉
07/08/2025: I got married at Villa Menelao on August 1, 2025, and I can only say wonderful things about this wonderful place. The food was impeccable, with a fabulous appetizer buffet, raw seafood, assassina, cured meats, smoked fish, delicious first courses, a delicious fish main course, and truly delicious desserts. Impeccable service; half the guests were Spanish and were impressed, with no negative comments. Martino Palmisano, the dining room manager, was my shadow. He made sure everything ran perfectly, had a solution for every request I had and was always ready to help with any needs. I am truly grateful to him for being there. The band led by Vittorio Traversa played divinely; I received compliments from everyone; the singer's voice was superb. The entire dining room staff made the event beyond special. The location was a dream, the event was in the evening, and the decorations created a magical atmosphere; everyone was amazed. Thanks also to the owner, Michele Boccardi, who gave us excellent advice and was personally present at the event to make sure everything went smoothly. Thanks also to Ilaria and Luana, who planned everything down to the smallest detail and made it more than special. Thanks to all the staff ❤️ P.S.: I wish all husbands were like Martino. You're welcome to be our guest whenever you want, so I can teach my husband a little lesson 😂❤️ P.S.: The next day, when I came back to the dining room, I said it was a shame I didn't get to try the desserts (even though we always had a table full of every dish), and they let me go home with a tray full of desserts to feed an army. You are spectacular, I adore you ❤️🇪🇸🇮🇹
