I went for dinner during the week with friends and it was a wonderful surprise.
The service was truly attentive, present but never intrusive. There's a truly peaceful atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy the evening without rushing.
At the end of the dinner, we chatted with Stefano, who also took us to see the wine cellar: a place worth a visit, with an impressive selection of wines.
It was more than just a dinner, it was a complete experience.

We hadn't made a reservation for dinner at Botteghe Antiche, so a spot on the square wasn't an option. Inside, there was still room, and we had a view of the kitchen, which is always a nice sight. The dishes were delicious. We found the atmosphere a bit lacking; the service was friendly, but a bit distant.

We came for lunch during the week and left confident we'd found a special place.
We tried the handmade farinella tagliatelle: a simple dish with a lot of personality.
The service was attentive yet discreet, and the open kitchen made you feel part of what was happening.
An experience we'd repeat without a second thought.

I would walk across a street full of broken glass to eat here again ……. Such a unique twist on local seasonal produce …… not trying to sound like a food wanker but it’s one of the best meals I’ve had in Italy ….. worth every cent .

I had dinner at Stefano's last week, on a Wednesday, and tried the sponzali tart (unmissable), the borage soup, and the veal cheek. Everything was excellent, and the delicious aroma of freshly baked bread wafted in the air.

Botteghe Antiche is a trattoria that smells delicious. Stefano showed me how to make tagliatelle alla farinella (luckily I was there for lunch) and the cellar upstairs (my new favorite).
A favorite place, take some time and spend it dining here.

Excellence and rarity in our region. I can only recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. Tradition and authentic Apulian flavors, combined with impeccable presentation and rich, flavorful dishes. You couldn't ask for more; it's a journey through flavors and authentic Apulian traditions, unmatched in the area. I recommend visiting on a quiet day to enjoy this relaxing and pleasant place.
The staff is truly top-notch; I also extend my compliments to the man who served us.
I'll be trying other desserts on the menu; I can't wait.

TOP PLAYER... Anyone who wants to eat WELL must go to Stefano.. Absolutely top player, for bikes, and also for wine. A family-friendly place, very welcoming and BEAUTIFUL. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, we will definitely return.
