Bottega Peruzzi overlooks the small square of Artimino, offering a unique and evocative view. The service is friendly and always welcoming. The food is excellent and of the highest quality. Highly recommended. The wine list is extensive and caters to every taste, with a focus on local wines.

We only wanted to have a drink, it was around 10 pm, and we were turned away. Apparently, you could only sit there to eat. Sorry, but that's unacceptable to me. We won't be eating there again during our stay at the Melia.

A large outdoor terrace is ideal for cool summer evenings.
The modest menu focuses on traditional Tuscan dishes: pici cacio e pepe, potato tortelli with duck sauce, and truffle ravioli. The appetizers are also noteworthy: crostini with chicken livers, beef tartare...
A dessert to finish, and dinner is complete: we had lemon sorbet and chocolate cheesecake.
The service is a bit haphazard, certainly not professional: the two young men who served us were seasonal workers, not professionals, with good intentions but still a lot to learn.

Bottega Peruzzi hosted the welcome dinner the day before my wedding at Villa la Ferdinanda.
It was easy to organize, and Chef Davide and Michela were very kind and helpful, offering an excellent menu suited to the summer season and showcasing traditional Tuscan dishes. The guests came from all over Europe and all complimented the dinner, which was delicious, and the beautiful location in the small Artimino square with a view of the entire valley.
For us, the newlyweds, it was a wonderful moment we were able to share with our guests, especially since we didn't have much time the next day!

Nothing to say about the cutting board, but the service leaves a little to be desired.

Bottega Peruzzi — pure Tuscan style!
An absolute must-see if you're in the Artimino area. We stopped for a snack and found ourselves immersed in an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience.
The platter was a journey through Tuscan flavors: typical local cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by a caramelized onion whose sweetness perfectly enhanced every bite.
All paired with excellent local wines — a pairing that captures the essence of this region.
But what makes the place truly special is the welcoming and friendly staff — genuine warmth, no frills, that Tuscan friendliness that makes you feel immediately at home.
A rustic and quaint setting, a relaxed atmosphere. A place where the food speaks of the region with pride and passion.
Highly recommended! 🧀🍷

This restaurant was a spontaneous stop during our day, while searching for places to eat near where we were walking, and it turned out to be an incredible surprise.
Everything was absolutely delicious, from the starters to the main courses, desserts, and wines. Samanta’s service was exceptional — truly one of the best dining experiences and services we have had in all of Italy. We will definitely remember her kindness and attention.
The food was outstanding, especially the cod and the truffle steak tartare. In fact, it was the best steak tartare we have eaten so far in all of Europe.
We highly recommend this place, hidden away in a small Tuscan village, and we already hope to come back someday.
