Bottega Ghiotta - Duomo Milano In Milano

First of all, the pizza is delicious. The place is very well-kept, welcoming, warm (December), with a large window... TOP! The waiters are very attentive and friendly (which is very hard to find these days). Go there, it's really worth it. The Spritz is also good :-)

Better than I expected for a heavily touristic area near the Duomo. Pizza and Tagliatelle were both very good.

But how much I ate in this little restaurant, truly how much we ate 😍 I chose a tuna tartare on a bed of avocado, delicious, but above all I ate amazing spaghetti alla Nerano, but my friends also chose amazing baby octopus in a stew and other dishes such as risotto alla Milanese with Mazara del Vallo prawns, and gnocchi alla Sorrentina. In short, I didn't expect that in this little, shabby-looking restaurant there was a culinary tradition worthy of great chefs. The staff isn't 100%, but that's okay, it's part of Neapolitan folklore. Yes, because the owners are Neapolitan, synonymous with guaranteed food. Plus, it's 2 steps from the Madonnina, that's a 3-minute walk from the Duomo. In short, they all deserve a solid 5... it's important to eat well, it cheers the soul. 😍

The hall and the kitchen were quite busy so maybe that's why we got our order messed a bit. They brought the right dish straight away but still... The food was OK but not really worth the high price tag.

Cosy atmosphere, decent prices, just 2min walk from Piazza Duomo

The restaurant's dishes are truly delicious, and the kitchen is very quick in preparing and serving them. However, the service was a complete disaster. The waiter named Francisco approached the table with his hands in his pockets, and when we specified that we didn't eat pork, he replied that he really enjoyed it, starting making strange gestures and even dancing next to the table. We asked twice for the music to be turned down, which was excessively loud, but he simply replied, "We're in Milan," and did nothing. Every time he returned to the table, he seemed to act as if he were drunk. When he was near the cash register, he would touch his nose inappropriately, a completely unprofessional behavior for a waiter. He also talked and laughed loudly with the kitchen and bar staff, creating a chaotic and unpleasant atmosphere.
