Stop in Perugia: a delightful discovery! We stopped at this restaurant almost by chance on a return trip from Tuscany, looking for a welcoming place for lunch in Perugia. It turned out to be an excellent choice and provided us with a truly memorable experience. 🍽️ Top-Notch Food and Hospitality The quality of the food was excellent, with carefully prepared dishes and top-quality ingredients. But what really won us over was the courtesy and impeccable welcome. The owners were incredibly kind and attentive, especially with our one-and-a-half-year-old son, demonstrating a rare thoughtfulness. Even our littlest one loved his pasta with tomato sauce! ✍️ A Small Helpful Tip The only small comment we feel we need to make concerns the services for younger guests. For us, who were traveling with a baby, the lack of a changing table in the bathroom and high chairs was the only drawback. In my opinion, these small touches would be enough to make the experience perfect, even for families with babies and small children. 💖 In Conclusion Despite this small complaint, we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere, warmth, and overall quality deserve top marks. We will definitely return next time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat well and feel at home.

We had lunch there, drawn by the word "bottega" (shop), but it was closer to an osteria, but it didn't have bulk wine. A good platter of cured meats, which I would have paired with some cheeses.

Needless to say.... It was an experience... Had it for lunch and repeated for dinner.... common denominator: sincerity, from the food to the hospitality!!! Congratulations

We were looking for a quiet place for lunch and stumbled upon this intimate, family-run trattoria. The owners are friendly and welcoming, the dishes are exquisite and prepared with love, the service is fast, and the hostess is incredibly friendly. Prices are more than reasonable. We returned for dinner! I recommend the scrambled eggs with truffles and truffle bruschetta, tagliatelle with vegetables and salted ricotta, umbricelli pasta all'amatriciana, and, off-menu, the chickpea soup and pork shank with potatoes. Highly recommended.

A restaurant in the center of Perugia, convenient and not very crowded, with excellent quality food, a very family-friendly atmosphere, affordable prices, and a very welcoming and friendly staff.

Lolita and Vittorio have the best true Mom and Pop restaurant in Perugia. Genuine small place. 6 tables. All hand made food. The chicken thighs in homemade tomato sauce were fall-off-the - bone tender and delicious. The chickpea and squash soup a true homemade autumn treat. And they're just kind good people. Can't wait to go back again

We stumbled upon this place quite by chance. We even passed it on our way to another restaurant, but they were short on seating, so we started looking for an alternative. Luckily, we found ourselves here. Despite our late arrival (we arrived 15 minutes before closing for lunch), we were welcomed and seated, pushing several tables together for our large group (there were 8 of us). The food was delicious, and the welcoming hostess, Lolita (who also served as a waitress), turned out to be a former compatriot, originally from Chisinau, which really helped us establish human connection and build bridges. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it. I personally had the sausages with beer; everything was excellent. Since there were no other customers, we were able to chat with Lolita for a while about life, and in particular, Italy. We had a wonderful time, said a warm goodbye, shook hands with our hosts, and headed on our way. P.S. Thanks, Lolita. Remember, next time you promised to treat me, my deputy? :-)

This is a very typical place in the heart of Perugia. If you want something authentic and genuine, this is the place. The food is exquisite and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Cucina di qualità, dagli ottimi sapori in una atmosfera e in una gestione familiare con la premura, la gentilezza e l'accoglienza di Vittorio e della moglie, che gestiscono questo locale in modo genuino e lontano dalle logiche dei menù turistici, in una via tranquilla di questa bellissima città.
