We stopped for lunch at this restaurant and ate well, the service was impeccable, only the surprise at the end didn't really please us (€25 for 5 espressos, €9 for a glass of chardonnay and €14 for a small glass of grappa).

Excellent cuisine, refined and traditional Very pleasant welcome

Everything was perfect. They welcomed us without any problems, even with our furry friend (which is not a given), and they even prepared a bowl of water for him. We had the trio of cold appetizers and the trio of hot appetizers. Then the plin with three roasts 😍😍😍 and the gnocchi with Castelmagno fondue. We finished with tiramisu and vanilla ice cream with Moscato grappa. They offered us an amuse bouche while we waited for our dishes: cinnamon meringues and a mint and lemon popsicle prepared by the chef. The service was very attentive and courteous, served by the girl with beautiful pink hair 💞. It was the best meal we've had since we arrived. Warm greetings from travelers from Naples ❗️

In the heart of the Langhe, known as a wine and food treasure, lies Neive, less known than others like Alba, Asti, or La Morra, but nevertheless well worth a visit to this charming town. If you do, a great choice is Locanda Borgo Vecchio, where you can savor typical Piedmontese dishes and also some other original options, with a limited menu but with plenty of options. In fact, there's always a dish off the menu that's seasonal and is usually highly recommended. In my case, it was mushrooms and the tagjarin with black truffle. It's advisable to leave room for traditional desserts with a little something extra, like the white chocolate mousse with red berries. Also worth noting is that they produce wine and grappa, perfect, especially in summer, to be enjoyed on their magnificent terrace, from which you can see the area's vineyards. We visited this restaurant and had an overall very positive experience: the cuisine is meticulous, the dishes are well-prepared, and the bill was absolutely reasonable. The atmosphere is also pleasant and contributes to a pleasant evening. My only complaint concerns the reservation management: when I called, I specifically requested a table with a panoramic view, specifically one by the window, because we were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday. I was assured that all the tables had a beautiful view, so I trusted them. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the tables with a view were already taken, and we were assigned a table further away, from which we couldn't enjoy the sunset, which would have been truly special on such an occasion. I reported this when I received the bill, but was told that my request hadn't been noted. A shame, because with a little more attention to this detail, the evening would have been perfect. Despite this, it's still a restaurant I recommend for the quality of the food, the location, and the good value.

Very beautiful location, especially if you go to the terrace. It's spectacular, the view of the Barbaresco hills is like a painting.... The food is good, the quality of the raw materials is excellent. The staff is friendly, highly recommended!!! 👍

While taking a romantic tour of the Langhe, we booked a last-minute reservation, but we still found a spot at this beautiful inn. The view was spectacular. We ate outside on the covered terrace overlooking the stunning hills. The service was excellent, the wait time short, and the food excellent. The charming little village is also highly recommended.

In the heart of Neive lies this splendid restaurant with a breathtaking view. While we waited for our dishes, we were served an entrée of cod and whipped butter: a unique delight! The two first courses were excellent; for personal taste, I would have preferred less cheese in the tagliolini with truffle so as not to overpower the flavor. But everything was excellent: service, dishes, location, and bill (I expected more given the quality of everything). A truly top-notch restaurant.

Menu antipasti à partager à deux : des saveurs très variées au top et tellement copieux... Pas pu finir ! Vin local (nebbioli Prinsi proposé par le patron) qui était très bon. Une sublime grappa pour terminer. Le tout pour un prix raisonnable. Je recommande sur ce menu ++

Ci siamo trovati benissimo in questo ristorante con una vista mozzafiato, prezzi bassi rispetto ai ristoranti in zona di questo livello, menu a partire da 27€ con mix di antipasti, un primo e un dolce. Cibo veramente buono e proprietario gentilissimo e super disponibile. Mi sento di consigliare vivamente questo ristorante e sicuramente ci ritornerò. I prezzi citati nelle vecchie recensioni non rispecchiano l’attuale menù poiché ci sono stati dei cambiamenti
