(Reviewing the restaurant)
The atmosphere is rustic, simple but well-kept and tidy. A fireplace at the entrance easily warms the entire space.
The waiters are young, but friendly and attentive. You can clearly sense their love for their work and the commitment they put into it: they were efficient and helpful throughout the evening.
The menu is simple but rich in meat-based dishes, which are the hallmark of this place.
I liked the option of ordering a dish called Quatris, a trio of cappellacci (a type of pasta) plus baked pasta (which was actually lasagna; I thought it was baked macaroni).
I'd never tried cappellacci with radicchio, but I have to say it wasn't bad for someone who doesn't like radicchio.
For the main course, the rabbit was excellent, with vegetables just like my grandmother used to cook it, accompanied by baked potatoes. My boyfriend had tagliatelle with ragù and donkey with polenta, which he loves.
The portions were just right, in my opinion, because I managed to eat everything without leaving anything behind; I was just the right amount of full. I was afraid they'd be inhumane, but I was wrong.
Honorable mention for the pumpkin chips, which were AMAZING: I'd never seen them before, but I think even if they were available, they wouldn't be this good! I think providing more than one side is a plus.
The robiola cake was excellent, as was the chocolate salami (which I appreciated because it was nice and dry with an aniseed aftertaste!). To finish, a nice licorice liqueur, very pleasant and low in alcohol. €87 for two with a bottle of wine, a real bargain.

Truly excellent food. I go back often and always bring new people who really appreciate the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommended. Excellent food and impeccable service. I highly recommend the pumpkin chips and donkey. The price is reasonable. I will definitely be back again.

Five stars aren't enough; they deserve 10, 100, 1,000. We've rarely eaten so well. Authentic, homemade food. Cappellacci, salami da sugo, mashed potatoes, and cappelletti are amazing. A zuppa inglese that brings the dead back to life. Kindness, courtesy, and impeccable service are top notch. It's a shame we're so far away, otherwise we'd always be here. Highly recommended.

Excellent Ferrarese meat cuisine. Friendly staff and good service. I recommend the excellent tagliatelle with meat sauce and the guinea fowl. And don't forget the fried pumpkin, a real treat. But everything else is good, too. The honey grappa at the end of the meal is excellent. Andrea is great.
