We spent a week here and we fell in love with Borgo il Melone and the area. The service was really good. Everyone was nice and helpful. Big thanks to the staff working at the breakfast and pool: We loved the cappuccinos and cocktails! Good to know: - the hotel itself does not have a restaurant! Within 5 minutes you find nice pizzeria’s and little restaurants. We went to Cortona most of the time for diner. This is max 10 minutes by car and totally worth it! Lot’s of restaurants and bars! - Airco is not the best, so make sure you can handle the heat during the summer! For us it was okay!

Very nice service at the reception and also in the restaurant. Great waiters and the lady in the restaurant serve delicious coffee for breakfast. Breakfast is quite simple, but everyone will find something for themselves (sweet and salty). We spent 7 days in Borgo Il Melone. This is a great place to visit Tuscany. Every morning we went to different places: Cortona, Siena, Florence, Pienza, Montepulciano, Assisi, Perugia. After a day of sightseeing, you can relax in a place where you can feel Tuscany at every step. The last time we stayed at this hotel was in 2017 and not much has changed, which is exactly what I wanted. In my opinion, the building where the reception is located has slightly worse rooms than the building behind the reception. Worse - i.e. the air conditioning works worse, I think that replacing the air conditioning and lightly refreshing it will improve the quality of the hotel. I lived in the building where the reception is located and generally it was ok, but if someone likes a cool room, they definitely have to have a room in the other building. The pool is heated, which is a big advantage for families with children, there is no shock between the Tuscan heat and jumping into icy water, which often happens in other hotels we have been to. The rooms were cleaned every day, so it was really clean. Thank you to the cleaning lady. Greetings to all the staff (including the men who speak Polish 😊). See you next time 😊

I stayed here in April, but the review request expired, so I will leave it here. This property is beautiful, probably moreso in the summer in full bloom. I had a nice walk around the premises in the fresh air of nature. The staff is polite. Even they helped figure out a way for me to get a taxi to bus station without cash (only I had card). The room is spacious and clean. The bed was large and comfy. Location is the drawback because it's most feasible with a car. Getting to Cortona from there, there are busses and they go when they want. There is also a barking dog at the bus stop. I happen to be afraid of barking dogs that I don't know😮‍💨 The food at happy hour is good and filling. Breakfast buffet was pretty basic though.

A beautiful place, Tuscan buildings and atmosphere. Guests live in different apartments in several buildings spread over a large area. Large swimming pool, plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. Great rooms cleaned every day. Good breakfasts. Very nice service. The coolest are Samuel and Ricardo who speak a little Polish 😊

Comfortable place to spend the days, the rooms are typical of a Tuscan farmhouse that lacks nothing, large garden and park that can be explored, the best part is the large swimming pool with deckchairs to relax in, very varied breakfast, sweet and savory and also dried fruit, recommended both for a business trip or to visit the Tuscan hinterland without missing the sea!

Nice hotel, we had the room at the last level, and the windows were really small, but still was ok. Large pool to swim and spend a nice time. A restaurant and a bar (after the pool schedule) should be great. After 19:00 if you want to drink and eat something you have to drive to Cortona.

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing experience, especially for the director Gigliola, who was always available and very nice. Excellent advice to everyone
