We loved this place. The rooms are spotless. The grounds are beautiful. There are plenty of places to eat in the area but the house restaurant is fabulous so don’t hesitate to stay for dinner right there. We loved the pool. AC very string an no issues. The very best part of staying here was the service. They will bend over backwards to assist you in any way possible. We were directed to an Amazing chef for a private cooking lesson. I’ve recommended this place to my friends and this is s no-brainer. If I head back to the region I will re-book here

We stayed at Borgo Della Marmotta for four nights, and overall, it was a pleasant and peaceful experience. The hotel is set in a beautiful old borgo, surrounded by rolling Umbrian hills and olive groves—it really is a stunning location. The buildings themselves have a lot of charm and character, with that classic countryside feel that’s hard to beat. That said, it’s fair to say that the place is a bit rough around the edges. Some parts feel a little worn out and could use a refresh, especially considering the price point. It’s not a luxury experience, but it does have a relaxed, rustic atmosphere that’s easy to settle into if you’re not expecting polish. The on-site restaurant was a highlight. The food was genuinely good and reasonably priced, with a menu that offered enough variety without trying too hard. We ate there more than once during our stay and were happy each time. Breakfast was decent but repetitive. It didn’t change at all during our four days, which made it feel a bit dull by the end. The biggest letdown was the coffee—it was from capsules, which felt out of place in a region where great coffee is everywhere. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic place to stay and don’t mind a bit of wear and tear, Borgo Della Marmotta offers a charming spot to unwind. Just go in with the right expectations and you’ll likely enjoy your stay.

What I imagine when I look for a luxury facility with the warmth and simplicity of a family. Everything is well-kept, remarkable aesthetic details and lots of relaxation. Luana's welcome is of a unique professionalism that makes you feel at home at the same time. All the staff are very kind and friendly. Perfect location for touring Umbria. This is a wonderful hotel that I stayed at while hiking the St Francis Way. The reception was accommodating and hospitable. The room was specious and comfortable .The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent .I enjoyed the pool, the spa where I had a great massage and the general ambience of the resort.

Strategic position to see all of Umbria, in a quiet and relaxing environment, which recalls the various Umbrian villages. Luana always available and very kind. I recommend it!
