A fabulous experience worth repeating.
We happened upon it by chance. We were welcomed with affection and extreme kindness by three ladies (one was the cook, Mary). We ordered 1 penne alla boscaiola, 1 tortello alla Mary, and 2 pork loins (soft as butter) accompanied by roast potatoes and beans all'uccelletto. To finish, a sampling of homemade cakes (chestnut and rum, pear, cinnamon and clove, orange, carrot). A half-liter bottle of house wine. LARGE PORTIONS. EVERYTHING FABULOUS. THE TOTAL COST WAS 77 euros. We will definitely be back.
PS: The three ladies also run an adjoining B&B, Borgo Antica Pieve.

Oh well, who's going to abandon you again? My husband and I will end up like the elderly couple sitting next to us who come almost every day 😁. What can I say... congratulations! When you're passionate about this job, it feels like you're at a family member's home, not a diner. Superb staff, all we did was chat, we spent over two hours in wonderful company. I kindly offered her husband a taste of the first course he wanted to try... lots of advice, so much kindness, and so much love. Excellent food, but it almost gets overlooked because of how captivating the atmosphere is. See you very soon! Greetings from me and the Neapolitan from Certaldo 😊

The restaurant has several parking lots and presents itself as a trattoria on the main road. The menu is appropriate for the location. The ragù with orange zest and a citrus aftertaste is very good and unique. The artichoke crepes aren't very delicate and, frankly, too hot. The roast potatoes are good, and the turkey is average. The apple pie served with a dollop of cream is excellent, and the coffee is also really good, which isn't a given in trattorias. Overall, it's worth a try.

I stumbled upon it by chance during a business trip, and it will surely become a stop on my Tuscany tours, even for leisure.
Excellent value for money, but above all professionalism, without forgetting those little touches that make you feel at home.

The restaurant is off the beaten tourist track, serving home-style cooking for the locals. Good ingredients, homemade recipes, and skillful cooking.
The roast beef is excellent. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is pleasant, though not the restaurant's strongest point. Good quality at a good price.

We were lucky enough to snag the last two spots for New Year's Eve dinner, and it was wonderful!! The staff were incredibly kind, especially Katia, who speaks French and went out of her way to help us, even explaining how to play bingo!! Since we don't eat pork, she prepared a special menu for us, even though we booked on the same day. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The food was delicious and plentiful, and they packed up the leftovers for us to take away – unbeatable value for money. It was a true immersion in a culture full of Italian generosity; we felt like guests, not strangers.
We were even treated to homemade fireworks!! Thank you, and Happy New Year!
