Best experience of my life. Ate here the night before New Year's Eve and on New Year's Eve and it was absolutely fantastic. I didn't expect it to be so good, but we couldn't stop eating. The food was not heavy. The wine was out of this world. I have no words to describe this experience and how unique it was, but if you are ever in Tuscany, please make an effort to come eat here - it will be worth it. It's something everyone should try in their lifetime. So grateful to have been here.

I had an awesome experience here. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the staff made the visit even better. They were so friendly, quick to help, and really made sure we had everything we needed. You could tell they genuinely cared about making our experience great. I went for lunch on Sunday 15th December to celebrate a birthday. A truly special organization and welcome. The owners of the restaurant and all the staff were present with all the professionalism that distinguishes them, from the aperitif to the final toast. The food was very good and cared for, mainly Tuscan cuisine but with a special twist... the passion and love they transmit in their dishes. Thank you, I will definitely visit you again. In the Borgo Antico people live, eat excellently and celebrate. As a guest at the adjoining Bed&Breakfast, I was lucky enough to eat there several times and enjoyed it every time. There is excellent food, authentically Italian and served in large portions. You can tell how much dedication goes into cooking here: the cook comes to the restaurant early in the morning and prepares everything for lunch and dinner. Everything is prepared in-house and freshly cooked by chef Maria Rosa. Unlike other tourist restaurants in the region, there is real Italian cuisine here. The special thing about it is that even as a vegetarian you don't feel left out. The good menu offers enough options with pasta and vegetables. But at Borgo Antico it's not just about the food, it's also about the atmosphere. Boss Katia seems to know each of her guests personally. People in town really enjoy coming to the Ristorante Borgo Antico. Tourists rarely come here in the off-season. It's all the nicer to be sitting in the middle of a large Italian celebration group. People laugh, live and eat. The restaurant is great, but doesn't pretend to be pseudo-3-star chic. You can feel the great warmth in everyone in the team and also in the food. The Borgo Antico should therefore get 3 Michelin stars for warmth! And then at this point I would like to especially thank Katia for the breakfast every morning, for the parking space for my racing bike, for her generosity. I'd love to come back!

Lunch for a birthday which made me agree with the authenticity of the food and the hospitality found. Abundant starter with truly exquisite cured meats, the first with really good Tortelli and what can we say about the smoked pork rib with potatoes (it melted in your mouth) and steak. A pleasant experience to be repeated even in summer in the outdoor space with a view of the Chianti
