Our May trip to Italy was nothing short of wonderful, and we still find ourselves reminiscing about every moment. Whenever we share stories with friends, one name always comes up: Borgo Antico.
The food was simply outstanding—every single course was a masterpiece of flavor, presentation, and authenticity. But what truly elevated the experience was the warmth and genuine hospitality of the staff. Their kindness went far beyond polite service; it felt like being welcomed into a family home.
Borgo Antico wasn’t just a meal—it was one of the undisputed highlights of our entire journey. We can’t recommend it highly enough.

We ate here three times. The service was always very friendly, cheerful, and attentive. In addition to the regular menu items, there are always special dishes. We chose from these twice, and they were also excellent. The portions are huge; one first course followed by a second course each is more than enough for two people. The value for money is superb.

Absolutely recommend for dinner. Very local restaurant which serves fantastic pasta and steak.
Service was really great and very welcoming.
Highly recommend getting a cake to finish the meal!

Neat, clean, and welcoming atmosphere.
Parking in front of the restaurant is very important!
The staff were kind, polite, neat, and clean, and, for me, the hands of those serving the tables were clean.
The food was delicious and well-prepared. Plus, nothing goes to waste! They even prepared packages for us to take home with us, including what we didn't eat at the table!
I'm sure I'll return with my children to let them enjoy the best!

A wonderful, cozy restaurant with excellent cuisine. Whether it's a starter, main course, or dessert, we had a great time at Katja's and would happily return (if we're in the area). Tip: Be sure to make a reservation.

Ik had een 5 willen geven maar omwille van de fles Chianti Classico die geserveerd wordt aan 25 graden geef ik een 4. Heel lekkere primi (pasta carbonara, tortelloni alla contadina) en een super bistecca fiorentina. Gemoedelijke sfeer, aangenaam open terras en schitterende bediening. Maar investeer aub ook eens in een wijnkoeler zodat de fantastische wijnen van de streek volledig tot hun recht komen.

Siamo stati al Ristorante Borgo Antico a Tavarnelle Val di Pesa e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il locale è accogliente, curato e con un’atmosfera tipica toscana.
Abbiamo mangiato una fiorentina eccezionale, cotta alla perfezione e di carne tenera e saporita. Ottima anche la pasta fresca, fatta in casa e con sughi gustosi.
Il personale è gentile e attento, ci hanno fatto sentire davvero a nostro agio.
Un ristorante dove si mangia bene e si respira la vera Toscana. Torneremo sicuramente!
