B.O.r.G.O. In Firenze

A huge thank you Gabriel for this dinner. This was the best meal I have ever had in Italy. I always have a lot of expectations when coming to Italy. I researched restaurants for hours before coming to Florence. We travel for the food. And still, to our surprise, it was really really difficult to find good restaurants in Florence. Your restaurant is a gem, I would say almost like a miracle, and it was the best pasta and the most interesting meals we've ever had in Italy. We're really grateful your restaurant exists. Without it we would have left Florence disappointed. So please keep cooking! The pastas were perfectly cooked and the flavours were a wonderful discovery. I can still remember the taste! Your homemade bread was also very comforting. The tiramisu was absolutely delicious and just by looking at it (and all the food that night) we could tell this was going to be better than any tiramisu we had had before. It wasn't just a dinner, it was a gastronomy lesson! Which we will not forget. I believe your restaurant is a must when visiting Florence and I will recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you for your warm welcome and perfect hosting too.

Favorite dinner experience in Florence. Food was fantastic, especially the anchovies, pasta with licorice, and pork. The owner was delightful. Highly recommend!

My last meal in Italy was wrapped up here after an amazing two weeks throughout Italy. I couldn't have asked for a better meal to end it on. Everything I tried was amazing and I left feeling satisfied and full but not over indulged. The crispy gnocchi was great and the perfect item to start with. I then was recommended the duck as my next course and it was perfectly cooked with wonderful flavors. Then to wrap it up the Rhum Baba dessert was amazing. Something that I hadn't tried before and I'm always happy to try something new. Thank you Gabriele for a great last meal in Italy before I head home.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had, came to BORGO towards the end of a month of travelling and was just amazing, laid back atmosphere, friendly service and fantastic food - would recommend to anyone visiting Florence!

This was some of the nicest food me and my partner had in a month of travelling Europe. Fantastic service, ambience and food. A brilliant menu with lots of vegetarian options too.

A lovely Ferragosto evening, everything was truly excellent, from the welcome upon our arrival to the end of the dinner. We ate very well, and Mr. Gabriele's presence in the dining room was always discreet but attentive. We will definitely be back.

Gabriele es un apasionado de la producción de comida hermosa que sea apropiada por temporada. El servicio es amable y servicial. Valor muy bueno. El entorno es básico: no dejes que eso te desanime. Comimos allí dos veces en nuestro reciente viaje a Florencia / Florencia. Muy recomendable
