Our family was treated so well at B.O.r.G.O. The owner was very helpful with multiple food allergies, and everything came out great. We especially loved the anchovies, hummus sampler, and pork. Mille grazie!

Very nice everything! We felt welcomed and pampered even if with due discretion. All the dishes were very good, not banal and with something to tell. Wine list not exaggerated but with a nice attention to the territory, a nice selection of Chianti Classico, with some gems.

Superb local eatery with an owner who is truly passionate about his restaurant’s menu and ambiance. We had the pesto rigatoni and linguini in a cream sauce. Everything was very fresh and the ingredients complimented each other perfectly. A must try in Florence which we will be visiting again when we return.

Cozy, intimate restaurant hidden away far from tourist traps. My fiance and I ate here and had a great experience! We were welcomed in by the charming chef/owner and had the most delicious rabbit and pasta. You could see and taste the love put in to the meals. We will fondly remember Gabriele and the dinner we had here!

We ended up at B.o.r.g.o by chance, I would go back by choice! Gabriele is a host who welcomes you and accompanies you in his kitchen and his dishes. Unconventional menu with quality raw materials

A place that almost disappeared, but luckily we stumbled upon it. A quiet and charming place. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The service is unbeatable. All we can say is thank you 😊

Soy el único vegano en la familia, así que no elegimos un restaurante basado en plantas. Mientras disfrutaba de lo que parecía una deliciosa tempura de pollo y pasado con anchoas, compartimos un poco de cecina, con y sin la burrata, un sabroso ossobuco "falso", preparado con patatas y una salsa a base de plantas y yo comí lingüina con todo tipo de especias. Los desiertos no eran veganos pero morir por ellos. Amplia selección de vinos para maridar los platos y cervezas si te gustan (como a mí) los artesanales hechos en Italia

Un bel localino, semplice ma con una certa raffinatezza. I piatti sono quelli della tradizione toscana, ma sapientemente rivisitati, con esiti eccellenti, e il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.

30/05/2025: Dinner with friends for six tonight. Central restaurant in the lively San Frediano area. Mentioned in the Michelin guides, it intrigued us. When booking, they asked me for my credit card details, to charge the penalty in case we didn't show up without notifying 12 hours before the booking (I didn't like that already). But encouraged by the joyful group I pass over it. Nice place but not out of the ordinary. When booking, the kind waiter informed us that for kitchen reasons it was not possible to order à la carte, making us follow a menu of choice trying to group together more similar dishes. (A single pigeon could not be ordered at least two). So we tried to ADJUST by choosing dishes that were as similar as possible between us. (This is a serious lack of organization in my opinion). The sommelier was very nice and knowledgeable. The prices, considering a menu dictated by the masses, were even too high. There were about ten tables, such poor organization is possible. Good quality.
