Blandis Cafè & Wine Bar In Siena

When you are a large group, eager for a good coffee... after two days in Siena and the surrounding area, we realized that coffee is an art but not everyone is an artist. For me and my group it had become almost a mirage. Some had it burned and others shamefully watered it down. Finally, as soon as we exit the car park we are attracted by a strong smell of coffee. We look like kids attracted by grandma's dessert. As soon as we enter I ask "can you make 15 spectacular coffees?". The barista looks at me and starts serving his best coffee. We are all satisfied and happy to have enjoyed a proper coffee. Good, creamy, with an excellent aftertaste, dense and fragrant. The sugar test is largely passed because it remains on the surface and struggles to go down. A sign that the barista's hand, the mixture and the machine are synchronized. The 3 M trick as an old movie said. The staff is also spectacular and suggests some places to visit. In the following days we returned for other good coffees which did not disappoint us.

As a celiac I can finally say that I ate a sandwich "assembled" by me. Came to this place totally by chance, I was pleasantly surprised!

Top ontbijtzaakje dat vlak naast ons appartement lag. Heerlijke koffie en heerlijke lekkernijen en belegde broodjes. De grote donuts waren het hoogtepunt.

The place is a bit out of the way, but you can eat a good breakfast. The sandwiches are tasty, you can order something off the menu (e.g. scrambled eggs). Price wise.

Place managed by the owner who loves her job and does it with passion. We arrived after my daughter's graduation lunch which was practically almost completely closed. It was enough to mention that we wanted a coffee and with kindness and a great sense of attachment to the work he reopened us and served us without any rush and making us feel like friends and guests. Thank you truly from the bottom of my heart.
