We didn't have a reservation and were promptly politely turned away, so we ended up eating here two hours later, with a reservation.
In Italy, you can eat very well even late at night.
The service was very friendly and welcoming, and always quick to serve.
The starter – melon with Parma ham – was excellent.
We had carbonara, as shown in the picture, with a sauce you only get in Italy.
I highly recommend this restaurant.
Make a reservation in advance or eat later.

We went there without a reservation on a Saturday evening as a couple. A good meal in a friendly and welcoming setting. On the menu, prawn tails and a slice of beef. I recommend it.

We felt very welcome. The service was very friendly and hospitable.
And our lunch was truly delicious. The pinsa is highly recommended.

Dopo aver trovato pieno una sera …sono andata il giorno successivo invogliata dalla location e dall idea della carne alla griglia.
L ambiente é accogliente , un po’ caotico nelle serate “di punta “. Personalmente ha deluso le mie aspettative perché mi ha preso per la gola cantando dei maccheroni ripassati nella forma di parmigiano …e mi sono ritrovata un piatto di pasta al sugo al sapore di parmigiano a E 18,00 che a casa mia sono decisamente più buoni !!! La carne “ le scottatine” erano delle semplici fettine di carne , nulla di che …salate anche esse nel costo e nient altro.
Mi dispiace tanto perché il locale ha un grande potenziale ma…con gli italiani come me del centro Italia…non camperebbe a lungo! Lascio i banali maccheroni agli stranieri!

So the Atmosphere was nice and even tho it’s right by the street it doesn’t feel like it at all. There’s not a lot of noise and fairly quiet to have a conversation at the table. The food was okay maybe a bit bland but edible. The service tho? Really not that great. If you have a reservation you do get sat fairly quickly and they give you menus. Everything after that is basically non existent. If you’re not Italian they don’t talk to you much. No recommendations, no questions asked and not a smile in sight. After you get the food you’re basically ignored. I get it tourists are annoying but it’s only the start of the season. We had to ask for bread whilst everyone else for some. We wanted to order desert but when nobody came after 10 minutes we just paid and left. Honestly it would be an amazing place if it was a bit better mood in there. There’s better places to go especially for the price.

Bella location situata all'inizio di Sirmione, ampio spazio esterno dove cenare in queste sere d'estate, cordialità del personale e servizio molto efficace.
I maccheroni alla pirata di Pier, famosi per la mantecatura flambata direttamente nella forma di grana, sono una delizia!! Carne e pesce alla griglia veramente di alta qualità (la tagliata di manzo è una delizia...), prezzo in linea con la qualità di quello che si mangia.
Seguivo Pier anni fa nel suo agriturismo a Desenzano e, dopo tanto tempo, sabato scorso sono tornato finalmente da lui a Sirmione...stessa qualità! Ci torneremo sicuramente!
