Wonderfully eaten in a welcoming environment. This could be the summary but I can assure you that the Fassona tartare cut with a grill and the dessert with chestnuts and honey ice cream were pure poetry. Great variety of wines combined with considerable expertise on the part of the chef.

Io e il mio partner abbiamo cenato in questo bistrot nel centro di Aosta, scovato su The Fork, ed è stata un’esperienza che ci ha conquistati. Il locale ha un’atmosfera elegante e curata, perfetta per una serata speciale. La cucina è di altissimo livello, e si percepisce la grande attenzione nella preparazione di ogni piatto: tutto, dall’antipasto al dolce, era semplicemente delizioso. Abbiamo iniziato con un vitello tonnato straordinario, seguito dai secondi: polpo e guancia con purea. In tutti e tre i casi, posso dire che difficilmente ho mangiato versioni migliori di queste pietanze. Il tutto accompagnato da un calice di vino valdostano consigliato dal personale, una scelta perfettamente in linea con i piatti. Per concludere, una tartaten e un gelato alla crema, entrambi impeccabili. Il servizio è stato puntuale e cortese, con un rapporto qualità-prezzo davvero ottimo. Un luogo che consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia gustare cucina di qualità in un’atmosfera raffinata.

The cuisine is of the highest level, and you can sense the great attention paid to the preparation of each dish: everything, from the starter to the dessert, was simply delicious. We started with an extraordinary vitello tonnato, followed by the second courses: octopus and cheek with puree. In all three cases, I can say that I have hardly eaten better versions of these dishes. All accompanied by a glass of Aosta Valley wine recommended by the staff, a choice perfectly in line with the dishes. To conclude, a tartare and an ice cream, both impeccable. The service was punctual and courteous, with a truly excellent quality-price ratio. A place that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy quality cuisine in a refined atmosphere.

Le bistrot central est sans aucun doute une des plus belles adresses d'Aoste. Le cadre dépouillé est très accueillant et le chef, authentique maître de la cuisine italienne, revoit ca carte régulièrement pour le plus grand plaisir de ses visiteurs. Pates aux truffes, amatriciana, carbonara... tout est vraiment magnifique. Le tout accompagné d'un vin local toujours bien recommandé. Un must !
