Il Bistrot is one of the most historic restaurants in Forte dei Marmi. Starred since 2010, it has been able to constantly renew itself to become what it is today: a place that stands out for its elegance, refinement and exclusivity.
The menu offers different tasting options, and we chose the 8-course “Profondamente” option, costing around €140.00. Some images of the dishes are available under this review, but what I can tell you is that the raw materials used are excellent, while the preparation techniques are complex and surprising. For example, the egg that was served to us was a unique experience, an extraordinary reinterpretation that will remain etched in my memory. The kitchen brigade’s commitment to transforming simple concepts into something extraordinary is evident, leaving us literally speechless.
The other courses were also exceptional. The blond shrimp tartare, for example, evoked the authentic flavor of the sea, bringing an unparalleled freshness to the palate.
The service is excellent: even if some small details could be taken care of more than in other starred restaurants, the staff is fast, smiling and always ready to satisfy every need.
As for the prices, I think they are honest and proportionate to what is offered. With three “Profondamente” tasting menus and a bottle of “Ruinart Blanc de Blancs”, we spent about €200.00 per person. It must be said that the portions are generous: we ate a lot and left more than full, to the point of skipping lunch the next day!
Finally, the cellar is a real spectacle. Enormous and fascinating, it hosts thousands of labels and it is a pleasure even just to admire it.
If you find yourself in Forte dei Marmi and want to immerse yourself in the dolce vita, the Bistrot is undoubtedly the ideal place for an unforgettable evening.

Very elegant atmosphere, welcoming and kind staff. Round tables, large, white ironed tablecloths. Outstanding food, the ingredients on the plate can be felt individually and together they form an exceptional combination. Wide choice of wines, labels from all over the world. Truly a wonderful experience. Price to pay more than in line with the quality of the dishes, the atmosphere, the service. You don't pay for the food but for the experience, and the price is truly worth it! Highly recommended for special occasions

I ordered plain clams and half of them had cracked shells. Even the unbroken ones had pieces of the shells of the inedible ones.
I asked the chef for explanations but he didn't know how to justify himself.
Starry restaurant and after removing the clam dish they made me pay for everything, service included.
In their place I would have apologized, which they did, at least giving a discount on the bill!!

Coccolati dall'inizio alla fine, che dire pranzo meraviglioso! La struttura è ben curata e sul lungo mare. Il cibo è di qualità eccellente, il servizio è eccezionale tutti cordiali pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza e ogni curiosità e non invadenti. Impressionante anche la carta dei vini con una vastità di scelta che spazia in ogni dove. È stata un'esperienza fantastica! Il prezzo lo vale tutto! Consigliatissimo!
