We're not from the area and we went there to use a Smartbox, but I have to say we had a great experience! Nice place and quiet atmosphere, very helpful and friendly manager, fast service, generous portions, and the food is good too! What can I say... we'll be back even without a Smartbox.

Mi esposa y yo tuvimos una visita de cuatro días a Roma. Este bar era brillante. Ofreciendo una amplia gama de bebidas y el personal era genial. ¡Desde cervezas artesanales hasta majitos! ¡Regresaremos! Dan & Lucy x

30/08/2025: We absolutely loved eating here! Our food was some of our favorite in Rome. Our waiter was nice, funny, and attentive. The prices were incredibly reasonable. We had a bottle of wine, a pizza, and two pastas for 54 euros. HIGHLY recommend.
29/08/2025: Authentic and very good traditional Roman food, spaghetti cacio e pepe is sublime! Il Gallo Nero is a must in all my visits to Rome.
