Bice In Milano

Trust me, if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Milan and want to escape the typical tourist traps around the piazzas, Bice is the place. Every bite was bursting with flavor and tasted like true, traditional Italian cooking. The atmosphere makes it even more special, it feels like stepping into a scene from an old Italian movie, with the warmth and charm of recipes passed down from an Italian nonna. ❤️🇮🇹🍝

Today I went to Bice for the first time, despite having been coming to Milan frequently for almost thirty years. I was curious to try one of the city's great classics. Luckily, the dining room was well-air conditioned, because today the heat was truly unbearable. The service was adequate and the food good, but honestly, nothing that impressed me or justified the restaurant's reputation. The real downside was the manager's attitude. In such a small restaurant, she lingered for a long time chatting with the table next to us, turning her back on us and invading our space, completely oblivious to the fact that we were dining. I found this behavior unprofessional and disrespectful towards the other customers. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but not one that would make me want to return.

We decided to give Bice a try after hearing so much about it. I had the vitello scaloppine which had too much parsley flavor (almost didn’t feel the funghi). The highlight was the tiramisu. Service was ok but nothing extra special. Probably will not return having other similar but better options (in my opinion) just around the block.

Beatrice and Vincenzo welcomed us splendidly, we had an excellent lunch.

Wonderful dining experience. Food was fabulous and the service was impeccable.

Italian cuisine at its finest! Bice in Milan completely won us over – the risotto is truly world-class and one of the best I've ever eaten. The ambiance is also very harmonious and inviting; you immediately feel at ease. The service was also very attentive and friendly. A definite recommendation for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian cuisine of the highest quality. 🇮🇹
