I walked into this place and was greeted with no welcome. I ate well, but not exceptionally well. They say it's a very nice place, but for me, it wasn't. The owner isn't very friendly, but she's a bit stern.

Bibenda in Assisi was a wonderful discovery! 😍 Top wines, delicious platters, and a super welcoming atmosphere. The owner is incredibly sweet and makes you feel right at home. Absolutely not to be missed! 🍷🧀

Tappa obbligatoria,veniamo spesso ad Assisi perché ci piace la pace che si respira in questo luogo. Al di là dell' essere o meno credenti. Da Bibenda risolviamo sempre un pranzetto o aperitivo cena con affettati torta al testo,bruschette con olio superlativo. Vini altrettanto superlativi,una vera esperienza.

Conosciamo Nila ormai da 6 anni e da 6 anni quasi tutti gli anni veniamo qui per fare aperitivo lungo. Nila oltre che essere ormai una amica è anche una esperta Sommelier e vi saprà consigliare i più buoni vini di Assisi e della Regione Umbria. Merita veramente ❤️. A presto!

13/10/2025: Vegetarian food with many vegan options, all spectacular. The two of us had an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and two desserts—all top-notch! The staff were incredibly friendly.

Vineria San Fortunato

03/10/2025: The Vineria is located next to the splendid Church of San Fortunato. The atmosphere is welcoming and elegant. The menu is fairly traditional Umbrian. We had the gnocchi, tagliatelle with wild boar ragù, and biscotti with Vin Santo. Everything was very good, as was the wine. The service was satisfactory. The quality/price ratio was good.
22/09/2025: Delicous food and wines, the sommelier had great wine suggestions. The place was fully booked
