Belvedere In Tirano

I can't say the food wasn't good, but it wasn't worthy of a five. The pizzoccheri weren't bad, I've had much better ones in other places. Maybe they were a little too salty and the cheese wasn't very tasty. Maybe it wasn't the chef's night! As for the wine, I had a glass of red Valtellinese on tap... The waiter didn't remember the name... It wasn't great, I would have preferred an inferno, or a red Valtellina or a Sassella, but it seemed like they couldn't give me a glass of that type of wine. The strawberries with ice cream were good. The typical appetizer was also good, but I don't remember the name, meatballs with melted cheese inside on a bed of salad. There was a lot of chaos inside and even though it was a May evening we preferred to eat outside where it was quieter. The waiters, poor things, were always running around going from one table to another. A little too much confusion, maybe because the food is good and it's a well-known restaurant.

Local clásico con el horno a la vista donde se sirven pizzas sabrosas a muy buen precio. Servicio profesional y eficaz para un lugar típico italiano.

Hands down the best pizza I have had!!! I had Pizza Carpaccio and my husband had a Pizza Nostromo! Authentic, delicious and made with love! For starters, I had their Octopus salad and my husband had a Pizzocheri- sooo faaain! Their desserts are amazing, we had a tiramisu (house made) and sorbet braulio- perfection! Great service and the prices are really worth the quality- though I’d say, the quality exceeds the prices! Buonissimo! PS: Food was too good I forgot to take pictures 😅 So here’s what I remembered to take pictures of. Anyway, I was there for the moment and a great time was had! A must visit in Tirano 🇮🇹

As we have been told by our hotel staff, this is one of the best pizza place in Toronto. It was a bit of a walk about 20 minutes from Bernina Express train station however walk was worth it. It’s also close to a Basilica. They offer about 20 to 30 different pizza and the best part is it’s a good fire oven. It was a teen crest and plenty of veggie options. Also tried there Italian beer. I wouldn’t say it was a local but from Italy and it’s pretty good.

Very poor service, and very poor, the food was also decent. Too bad we could do better.

Ristorante situato subito dietro al Santuario della Madonna a Tirano il ristorante Belvedere affaccia sulla strada e i binari del trenino rosso del Bernina, ampi parcheggi a poca distanza. Contiene un buon numero di coperti, i tavoli sono giustamente posizionati, è un locale dove ci si siede senza ansie e si viene subito messi a proprio agio dal cortese personale. Si mangiano specialità Valtellinesi (pizzoccheri, bresaola, sciatt ecc.) molto molto buone e sono proposti un buon numero di primi e secondi alternativi, anche di pesce. Fanno anche pizza, non provata ma dall'aspetto molto invitante. Prezzi nella media, giusti. Lo consiglio.
