Bella Napoli In La spezia

We had dinner 2 times out of 4 nights stay. The grilled seabass was my favourite dish. Had seafood risotto and seafood spaghetti both were also very fresh and yummy.

Trattoria Pizzeria Bella Napoli is located on Via Gramsci, near the center of La Spezia, on a street parallel to Viale Giovanni Amendola, just steps from the Coop. At the entrance, you'll find the cash register and, to the right, the entire pizza preparation area, where the dough is rolled out and topped before being baked. I was impressed by the number of pizza chefs on site, which clearly indicates the restaurant is busy, both for in-house service and takeout. The pizza is classic Neapolitan pizza, best eaten hot, fresh from the oven to fully savor it. The menu offers a wide variety of combinations to choose from, from classic pizzas to more unique ones. The restaurant also offers a special menu with specials for each evening and a selection of classic Italian dishes. The restaurant area is slightly further back than the entrance; upon entering, you'll find yourself in a large area with tables for everyone, from couples to families to large groups. Being spacious, it's also suitable for families with children. The atmosphere is welcoming and informal. The staff is friendly and helpful. Being close to the city center, the restaurant doesn't have free private parking, but there are several nearby parking areas (including private ones) or side streets. Pizzeria Bella Napoli is located on the ground floor, making it easy to access even with strollers and wheelchairs.

The pizza was excellent. The best, and the prices were great.

We made a reservation. The covered outdoor area is quite noisy and drafty. Service is quick and casual. The pizza is good, but the desserts aren't so great. Parking is on a busy street.

Delayed by more than an hour. We called the owner several times, and he always hesitated about the pizzas' arrival. Poor experience.

Excellent restaurant with very good, easy-to-digest pizza. Prices are competitive. Recommended.
