Found it on TheFork and was drawn to the photos. It's a lovely place, tastefully decorated, and the staff are incredibly friendly. Exquisite, fresh dishes: octopus, squid, spaghetti with sea urchins. A warm-hearted tart, overcooked. We'll definitely be back.

We felt completely at ease here. An excellent restaurant with outstanding food: delicious seafood, a huge selection of different types of fish, and incredibly welcoming service – all at a very fair price. The restaurant is located a little off the beaten tourist track in Palermo, but it's easily accessible on foot: it takes about 15 minutes from the city center – well worth it! Thank you so much for this wonderful and unforgettable experience.

I recommend going because it's a nice place. The atmosphere is nice and clean, but above all, the service is attentive. There were 10 of us sitting at the table, and we all ate lunch at the same time, having ordered different dishes, and for me, that's essential.

02/05/2026: Baglio Himera is a beautiful place. I consider it "Sicilian-style," meaning it respects its Sicilian origins, what makes us Sicilians special. The food is delicious; I had the pasta with pistachios, cream, and shrimp, which you must try here—delicious!—and the fried seafood was even better. The service is good, and the staff is kind and courteous. The atmosphere is beautiful, decorated in Sicilian tradition, well-maintained, and spacious, with plenty of seating. Highly recommended for a birthday party. In short, the place is perfect... highly recommended.

Osteria Pizzeria Re Borbone

09/05/2026: Our last dinner in Palermo was at this restaurant/pizzeria behind Piazza Politeama. Despite not having booked, and despite the fact that the place is truly huge, we were lucky enough to find a table outside, and I must say it was perfect. Fast service, truly delicious pizzas, and prices way below the "mainland" average. Definitely worth a try.
03/05/2026: Excellent osteria with very good stone-baked pizzas. Super friendly staff. Good value for money. A small play area for children. A bit noisy. (May 2026)
