BATTICöR In Milano

I found this place from the fork. It is not far from the hotel where I stay. We arrived around 7.30pm and the restaurant was quiet with few patrons. A DJ was playing nice music there. The restaurant has a very modern decor and brightly lit. It gives me a lively feel. We ordered 2 tapas, a veal taco and fried trout potato balls. Both the tapas turned out to be very delicious. As we are small eaters, we ordered another pasta to share. The fusilli cacio e pepe con pepperino which translates to fusilli with 4 peppers was surprisingly very tasty. I believe the cream sauce has some goat cheese and the Rosa pepper gave a very unique flavor to the pasta. This is the first time we tried this pasta and were very happy with the dish. We settled for Tiramisu for dessert. The liqueur in the dessert is pretty strong but overall I find it so so only. The service was fast but gotten slower when more customers filled up the restaurant at a later part of the night. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for its food and the music.
