Fantastic, everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. The atmosphere is perfect for a lunch or dinner for two, although I've found the owner to be very friendly with kids, too. Try the tacos and ziti alla genovese with tuna ragù. The coffee made with the old-fashioned moka pot deserves a special mention. The open kitchen is an added bonus. Highly recommended!

It's a bit of a Milanese deja vu: you eat well, but you feel like you've spent too much for what you get. Small portions, €28 main courses with no side dish, slow service. And last but not least: the light at our table attracted several flies, which then committed suicide in the leftover oil on our plates. The result? €51 per person for a dinner with one appetizer for every two, one main course each, and one bottle of wine for seven. Well, I wouldn't go back.

We had experienced the quality of Barmare and its service so we decided to give it a chance and spend our NYE in their company: what a great treat!
The menu was carefully studied and executed, with delicious combinations, exquisite ingredients and an escalation of flavours. Service was extremely attentive, juggling several tables with careful consideration for everyone's needs and preferences: quite astonishing!
